You should try some Rutland fire starter squares. I've used them for years. One square starts my fires every time and I don't even use kindling.

What do you do to winterize your water system in the cabin when your not there ? and now with the bathroom too .

Great question. I have it set up to be blown out fairly easily. I put RV antifreeze in the p traps and toilet and drain the toilet tank. Only takes about 20 min.
