Thank you for detailing West Virginia. We, here in the eastern panhandle, often get brushed over with weather people for some odd reason- like only MD & PA exist! Great job and I'll be watching your channel from now on! 🙌 💥

Appreciate your coverage of Kansas. Winter storm watch here. It's still early but the NWS office said up to a half an inch of ice, gust winds, turning to all snow Sunday morning. Could see 2-10 inches of wet snow, winds15-25 with gusts to 45. Power outages are expected. We're prepping for the storm here in south-central Kansas. Bring it on.💪🌨❄

I love the way you do your forecasts, no nonsense straight to the facts. I also enjoy how you show all the models and not just sticking to the gfs or the euro. Its great to see the differences and the similarity in them, also that your realisticabout the snow totals can get chewed away by sleet/ice. Travis keep up the good work and the real world weather forcast

I live in northern WV (hate it if your wondering, thanks for caring lol! Seriously just drive around this place!) 😂 And the snow has been south. My hubby works over an hour away south, and he couldn’t see the road but coming into moundsville WV there is like 2 inches of snow. I don’t think northern WV area will get much. For whatever reason, it always skips this area, each and every time

As a person from the eastern side of the higher ridges of Appalachian mts we get ice storms every year ! I promise freezing rain isn’t much to worry about on roads if it falls during the day time and temps are around freezing. If it’s below 29 and road is untreated that is the only time you actually get a slick of ice on roads . It’s more the untreated elevated surfaces that it accumulates on and the colder the temps the more it accumulates instead of dripping off .

Northeastern MD here: I am watching that snow/sleet line like a hawk. The GFS has the good snow in southern PA, and the EURO and CMC have it in southern MD. I don't see really any guidance for something in the middle! Interesting spread still! You'd think this would mean central/northern MD would be the winner?

As we look ahead, it's essential for everyone to anticipate the possibility of future events that could disrupt our daily lives. Being prepared for survival for at least two weeks, without depending on commercial food sources, utilities, or government services, can provide peace of mind and resilience in uncertain times. Embracing this proactive approach will ensure we are ready for whatever challenges may arise.

You really can’t be sorry because this is what people need to understand about weather forecasts. They aren’t easy & the ones who always say that weather forecasters have an easy job being wrong are the exact ones that don’t understand the variables involved in predicting weather
