So I learned to drive in Minnesota lived there for years, the best thing I learned was to downshift to slow down it keeps you from breaking as much. As soon as you jam on the breaks the anti locks going to hit and ur spinning. Be careful everyone!!

Yes but they also have a ton of resources to handle this. I lived in Minnesota most my life, but we had plows every hours, going through night and morning. You prepare when u deal with 4 to 6 months of winter. In Texas you don't need to prepare as much or if any. So everyone that compares this to states that are used to long heavy winters, knock it off. We all get it you are better then the people who are not used to this.
