I don't think people realize just how huge that door is, so it taking a minute to open is really nothing! I think part of the slow speed is the safety systems installed in it - the ones that prevent it from dropping like a stone if the pump quits (which is a very good thing to have). For a cold storage shed, I think the whole thing is awesome.

If it was really and issue they could just add a heater for the oil tank. Or maybe swap it for better oil that doesn’t get as thick in the cold.

@anthonyl9502 жыл бұрын
With people commenting on the door being slow, I think they are forgetting one huge thing.. it's not a 200 pound door on your garage, it is a massive shed door. The slower speed is a safety factor,allowing the door to gradually flex as it shifts from verticle to horizontal.

Zach, is there a P.O. Box to send fan mail to Onyx and the girls? I want them to know how proud I am of them for their skills andhardworking. I'm in lower Michigan and I was raised on an 105 acre farm too. We planted corn and soybeans. Today's tractors or so advanced compared to what we had to drive. I'm 58 years old now and my father is 84. He worked a full time job at Ford Motor company in Rawsonville, Michigan and him and my uncle farmed too. Now its leased out just to cover Dads property taxes every year. We just sold the grain truck for scrap 2 years ago to get it out of the barn. It was an antique 3 in the tree truck. Oh the memories I have still.

That big door, simply amazes me! My first snowmobile ride was on a Polaris Colt, in Marcel, MN in 1964 or ‘65. At the time it was the first stock sled to do 60 mph. It out the fear of God in me when I slid round a corner on a back road and hit the snow bank and the sled tilted about 25-30 deg. and my head was only a few feet from a barb-wire fence! Scary.
