@ I enjoyed it…I felt like I was watching an old black and white movie while I was reading it. I’ve never seen any movie adaptations of it before, but you can definitely envision it in your head. I’m pretty sure I gave it 4 stars.

I have had such a letdown with the Lovelight farms series. I wanted to love them, but I have been through the first 2 and they just fell short. I listened to them on audio and the narrator affected my experience I think. I am gonna try the next one with the physical book and see if that changes my view. They are VERY open door btw...just be ready 😊

Hahahahahaha I completely understand 😅🤣 is this the series that you have those beautiful special editions of? I may be completely off, I just remember seeing special editions in your story & for some odd reason I think it was this series!

@ yesss and they’re gorgeous! I swore this fall I was going to read the fall one but it’s come and gone and I just haven’t gotten to it. My job stress has been slowing me down and there’s just too many books I want to read. Sometimes I wished I only liked 1 genre but I like everything except sci-fi and horror really. I have that cat book, have had it a while. I’ll try and squeeze it in this month so we’re reading it at the same time. I don’t have that pretty edition you have though. If I love it I might need to upgrade. I have to get back to that Piper Rayne series too 🤦🏼‍♀️

@ it happens! And I’m sorry about the job stress, I know that all too well when I was working too, it can totally wear you down. I hope it gets better for you! And ahhh yay! Let me know if you end up starting it, maybe we can pick it up around the same time! And I need to get back to that series too, I haven’t read the newest book yet and I’m absolutely shocked because it’s one of my favorite series! I feel like I’m trying to cram at this point because like you said, there’s just so many books!!

I’ve listened to Before the Coffee Gets Cold and at least 1 more, maybe 2, in that series and I really like them. If they seem to slow (I could imagine that being an issue for me), try the audio! They were short enough to get through in a day or 2.
