Love you guys!! I always look for your teach and play throughs before I buy or play a game (esp. heavy euros). The way you explain your actions and strategies during the playthrough is SO helpful!!! Please keep up the great wok, you have a huge fan here 😊 CANT WAIT for your Suchy designer series. Love the series, it’s so unique. Please do woodcraft soon! It’s such a tough one for me lol.

I met the two of my last day at Dice Tower West 2024. Super nice and friendly (as I mentioned, you guys have costed me a lot of money in board games). Love the balanced reviews and high quality audio/ video. Your commitment to making quality content really shows. Keep it up!

Thanks for the update. Hope your busy season winds down soon and that you had a blast at Dice Tower West. My favorite games as of late have been Scholars of the South Tigris (I could see this being my favorite new game for the year), Evacuation (super crunchy yet very smooth too), and My Father's Work (worker placement that feels so thematic that I kind of forget that it's worker placement). Other fun ones have been Cryo, Cosmoctopus, Moon, Knarr, and Innovation.

I love your vibes so much. My favorite kinda of videos are the playthroughs, always a blast. Recently watched your "everything dune playthrough" and that game was awesome! Can't wait for the trickerion one as this game was announced here in Brazil this year. Here's hoping Naven get some free time to do more gameplays 😊

Thank you for your time and efforts. You are my first go-to for learning a game I am interested in. I enjoy watching you play and explain your moves. I am currently enjoying Photosynthesis, Hive, Canvas, Marvel United, Calico, Patchwork, Skyjo, Cartographer's Heroes, Viticulture, Azul, Ark Nova and Bandido. I play solo and with three different groups in person. I like playing in person best, moving pieces around a set of rules. Enjoy your day, you always help me enjoy mine.

Cool - I have also been studying Japanese (110 days now) in preparation for a trip we plan to take around Christmas this year. I'll have to rewatch your vlog to find out where to go for board game-related shopping! We plan to spend most of our time in the Osaka/Kyoto area but also with a side trip to Tokyo and Yokohama. Sorry to miss you at AireCon this year, but I totally get it - we also had to forego a lot of travel recently because of work pressures. I hope that you have a great time at Dice Tower West!

Great to hear that you are going to cover Trickerion. I wonder if you are going to do all in 😀 I wish you could do Stationfall but I am affraid that this one may not be your game. Not sure.
@BeforeYouPlay7 ай бұрын
Naveen played Stationfall about 3 weeks ago at 8 players and wasn’t a fan of it. He felt that his personal goals were imbalanced relative to what the majority of the other players were doing so every move he made was undone by other players.

We had to learn it on our first play through. Took just short of 9 hours to set-up, play and tear down. Second play was under five hours. Third just over four. I don’t know if we’ll be able to get it under four.

I learned Carnegie three weeks ago and have played it on bga 3x and bought the game since. It's pretty short for how complex it is (~2hr @4p, ~1.5hr @2p) and it can be quite mean at 2p haha

@alittlebirdtweetme7 ай бұрын
@BeforeYouPlay ahh, she found duolingo difficult because it doesn't teach the katakana and hiragana first. So, she learned that first on her own. She also practices with an app called mochi-mochi. She also bought an N5 japanese course which also helped her with more daily/business/school speaking language. Wishing you the best in your japanese learning path!
