i first discovered this song back in 2018, something about the melody and just how this song makes me feel so calm and safe when no person can make me feel the way this song makes me feel. in the hardest situations i went through in my life i always go back to this song and it makes me feel lighter and that everything will be okay. it makes me so happy reading all the comments that discovered this song and feel the same way i feel when this song plays. two months back i decided i wanted "the wisp sings" tattooed on me, so i got it tattooed on my neck! i love looking at it because it takes me back to my younger self first discovering this song and how safe it made me feel. I lost my aunt in 2016, death took a sabbatical for a year, and in 2018 I lost my uncle to cancer and a few months after that i lost my nephew. Little did I know that at my nephew's funeral it would be the last time I saw my cousin because 2019 took him away. In 2020, my grandpa died of covid. Yet, my faith in God, my family and the few friends I have that are more than enough has gotten me through it all. Find your support group, reach out to people you can count on, find your purpose and happiness. You may think you don't have a purpose, but we all do. Don't quit on yourself, don't quit on life. Stay strong and positive even in the toughest times.

Remember this. Waking up and hear the tv is on. Someone is in the kitchen, washing dishes. You hear you brothers and sisters running around the room. You then join them on playing. You would then open the door of the backyard. You see how bright it is outside the door. Clear blue sky, soft wind, bright green grass, and colorful trees waving their branches. You then run outside and start playing house, or something imaginable. You hear cars driving past the house, neighbors mowing their lawn, and children screaming joyfully. As you grow older, you don’t see that world as it used to be. Brothers and sisters walks away. No one is in the kitchen. Sky is not as clear as it was, grass are now darker, trees are now all the same color, and the wind has now been lost. No more children screaming joyfully, no more neighbors interacting, and no more cars driving past your old house. You see the world black and white. As it turns into a shade of grey. Nostalgic right. Such a beautiful song that gets me in my feels big time. I’m almost 33 years old as of this writing and I’ll still cry like a baby to this masterpiece. ❤️

I was going for a walk after a very stressful day at work. Things are going tough these days and i don't really feel what's happening around. The days are just going. I lost my best friend. She is incredible.. witty, gorgeous, inspiring. Every moment around her is full of joy and excitement. And for the past years, she was always there for me. Every single time I needed help, I knew I could count on her. Recently, I had some difficult personal stuff I needed to deal with and I casually dumped it all on her. As always, she was there for me and helped me get through everything. But when it was all over, she told me it was too much for her. She told me she has to end our friendship.
