I may be wrong, but I think Martin played a total of 8 different instruments in this one concert, 2 of which he made himself, and Evelina and David each played 5 instruments. Now that is an incredibly talented band.

Seems to me GOOD musicians are ALWAYS much better live than in the studio. Music comes from the heart and from the soul and the best music comes from those who really feel it and feed from the energy of their fellow musicians and the audience. It really is a beautiful thing. 2018 resolution is to go and see more of my favourite bands playing LIVE. Can't wait for Wintergatan tour of 2019! You guys ROCK. thank you for everything so far.

your comment doesn't really make sense.... so you call it boring and in the next moment you say how awesome it was. what do you mean?^^“
@quack38918 жыл бұрын
meaning of "least" as in theres nothing more interesting and as for Scott Linden, search up Detektivbyran "In August 2010, the band was dissolved and clearly stated on their official website that they would not make any more music or live performances under the name Detektivbyrån. In September 2012, Martin announced that he was producing a new album. His new band Wintergatan released their first album in 2013. The new band includes Marcus Sjöberg as well."

ok sry I didn't really understand what scott meant I'm not a native speaker ^^“
@dozer16427 жыл бұрын
Scott Linden if nothing else is 'less boring' then this is the 'most boring' thing you've ever seen. If that is the case you should take up bingo. Or maybe underwater basket weaving. For godsakes, just the whistling alone makes this one of the top seventeen least boring things since the invention of the slinky.

I never comment on videos. Ever. Americans make crap for music and get famous and make millions off of total garbage. This is the epitome of amazing. The musicianship is flawless. The sound is genius. I wish the best for your group and hope you make it big. You deserve it! Best wishes!
@SpywareEverywhere8 жыл бұрын
+Chase Mitchell so you've heard every American musician from every time period? you should go back to not leaving comments, quit ankle biting, and reduce the overall negativity of youtube.
@MephistosHunter8 жыл бұрын
+SpywareEverywhere I am talking about mainstream. Most of the stuff played on the radio and the "famous" consists of a total lack of musicianship. Songwriters write music for "artists" and it's all repetitious nonsense. Overworked tracks that make the sound engineers the true artists. While Wintergatan not only create their own instruments, play multiple instruments, create an artistic feel and scene. You may consider what I said to be negative, and I can see how that may be true. If you have a band, group, or whatever here in the states and you are making millions and it is up to par with true musicianship, then good for you.
@error.4188 жыл бұрын
+Chase Mitchell Mainstream is boring everywhere because it's all playing to the lowest common denominator. It's why your comment was ridiculous because it brought in national prejudice where it wasn't needed. Nationalism is incredibly blind. All large countries have pop music, and they have great music. Given enough people, you're going to get all kinds of music, and all kinds of people to like all kinds of music. Wake up. It's not America vs The World. It's just people.
@eytrix64228 жыл бұрын
+Chase Mitchell saying that "Americans make crap for music" makes you sound like an ignorant douche.
@ellieavenelle81458 жыл бұрын
+Chase Mitchell I agree with you! American music, or the stuff that is highly popular in America right now, is nothing but noise. I don't like rap, never did. I can't stand it. The head-banging stuff hurts my ears and makes no sense to me. And the heavy metal stuff with gagging "vocalists" sounds satanic to me. I guess I gave up on any new music about 20 years ago. One cannot walk down the sidewalk singing "today's music" without being arrested for profanity.
