busyflyin Hi you’all we love Michigan, our daughter and family lived in Birmingham, Mich. for several years - it is sooo pretty. We are planning a trip to see all the Great Lakes summer of 2021. Thanks so much for watching our video and leaving us a comment, that was very kind of you. Everyone from Texas know about “the hill country” and Fredericksburg-very nice area and better weather than Michigan in the winter. We spent our winter this year in Aransas Pass (Texas)and loved it there. Thanks again my friends and just enjoy life and all that it brings your way....

busyflyin Thanks so much for the generous offer. We went to my daughters and since my husband is a retired pastor of 40 years, he did a Bible study. We are going to be staying a month in Newberry, Mich then come down to Mackinaw for a couple days(we’ve been to the island before and loved it) then on to Manistee, MI for a month and then over to Wilson, NY for a month and then down to Lynchburg, VA to visit our grandson at college and watch him play hockey on the Liberty U team. So excited I think it will be a great trip, God willing we will be able to take this trip. Thanks my friend

The Redhead and the Preacher we live 50 miles east of Manistee. I suggest that you hug the west shore after crossing the bridge. So much to see! There are so many great places in the upper penn. check out pictured rocks in Munising. The is a boat tour that is well worth it. Tequamanon falls is great too. Holler if you need and help with other suggestions.

Moved from there to San Antonio when I was in HS and then landed in Keller, TX (DFW area) my adult life. We are retired and just starting to embark on traveling full time in our fifth wheel. :))

ED ABRAMS Hi Ed, the RGV is a great place to winter, lots and lots of things to do plus great food and all at very reasonable prices. I wouldn’t recommend it for this winter because Covid hit the area really bad because of the proximity to Mexico but wait another year and you won’t be disappointed.
