Few truly realize from experience that the best investment one can make is in THEMSELVES by improving their skills and knowledge. A strong primary source of income only comes when you add real value to society. Think of it like this: An employee to their employer A hero to their audience A cricketer to their fans A business to its customers A teacher to their students, and so on. When you create value for others, success naturally follows. 😌

Considering his age and the already existing corpus, he can end up with much more than 5 crores by the time he is 60. Maybe he shouldn't have so much in index funds. Instead should go for active funds as the Index fund bubble has burst. People hyped them up too much but many good active funds have beaten their benchmarks easily.

All good except spent 7-8 lacks for 1 month south indian trip...seems too good to be true...max it could have been to 1-2 lacks.(May be if its 5 star hotels then also max 3-4 lack). This guy would've gotten a nice abroad trip for 7 lacks( but still its good to explore india first but 7 lacks seems unrealistic also knowing the fact that its 5-6 years back). Also btw a basic wedding is good for 200 - 300 people( Giving food to peopls is a good practice as its just once in lifetime. Don't go too luxury. Dont go too simple. Keep in middle. just treat it as charity and it will come back to you eventually.
