Liz, please make a tut showing antiquing a whole (or partial) spool of wire with gel L of S. I want to see how you dry the wire once it comes out of the baking soda bath. Thank you for all your tuts - you have given me the best hobby I've ever had. I like the way you are relaxed and don't rush!

+Joy Rader Hi Joy, thank you so much for watching and for your support. I really don't need to make a whole video on that. When doing a spool of wire, you are only going to be able to get through a few layers of wire at a time. I don't do anything special, I just let it air dry on it's own. Works fine for me. The best thing to do is pull off as much as you want, several yards, hand coil it loosely and put it in the solution and air dry or blot with a towel after the final rinse and store in a zip bag after it's dry.

Love it. I have made a couple for family members who wanted crystals for family birthdays. I really like just the wire. Especially the knot hole. Neat idea. Is there a way to patina with house hold items?. I bought some LoS and it was old and didnt work. Thanx for a great tutorial.

Thank you so much Paula. I prefer LoS in gel form. You will be able to purchase it from my website soon. www.makingiteasywithliz.com You can take a hard boiled egg, peeled and cut in half. Seal your pieces in a zip bag with the egg. The sulfur fumes in the egg does the work.
