Today, I'll show you a tool that mostly women use that can be used for cable management especially for your wired security cameras attached to a brick or concrete wall and also mostly to organize the cables from your solar panel going to your battery powered security camera.

Another option for those with stucco like the walls that I have is to use the hot glue gun with various types of adhesive clips or zip tie mounts. You'll still have to consider the glue semi-permanent and most likely you'll take off your paint but if you have to remove or replace the wire at least you can just take it off of the clip/ zip tie mount as opposed to having to rip it directly off the wall.
@LifeHackster
@LifeHackster 2 ай бұрын
True. That can be another option.

Nice!!! Another good product to do this with is _Goop_ or _Shoe Goop_ brand adhesives. It does require using painter's tape to hold secure until the glue cures, but it works very well, requires no glue gun, and is clear.

genius idea. thanks for the pro tip. I need to do this with a section of patch cable going to my poe floodlight outdoors on aluminum trim panels. I'm getting wire sag between the cable ties because uv exposure and its a horizontal run. a pro tip from me is if your using a hot glue gun that is plug in ac powered and don't have outlets nearby a solution for that is to use a small power bank that has an ac inverter with ac output to make it cordless.

When you buy the glue gun, you can get one that doesn't have a wire or battery - it just heats up and then stays hot a couple of minutes while you use it, then you put it back on the base. I'm happy with the SureBonder brand. Also, be aware there are two different sizes of glue sticks, and different formulations, so get a decent brand name in the right diameter, preferably one advertised along with the glue gun. Also, glue guns aren't just for arts and crafts. :-)

Hi LH! Quick question, I'm thinking on going with the Tapo Color Pro for the outside of our garage. so, I'm trying to use only 1 application to control all our cameras, based on that, what Tapo camera would you say is the best for indoor (TC85, TC82, C220, C225, C212, C200, C110, etc)? I'm looking for something that does not require a hub, that has a siren alarm and that I can get tex messages notification and of course "no subscription".

Good idead but dont last long because that glue is not weather resistance so may last 6 months to a year before the weather make it not more sticky and start coming apart clear silicon will be better like quad max this silicon is so sticky the works like glue and is weather resistance
