This is a great video for helping put things into perspective for building a pattern/frame. Rarely do we see other artists show how they arrived @ their goal in such detail. Thank you so much for sharing your skills & your beautiful work..

I would love to see the rest of this pendant made. I have a ton of rough stone that I’d love to be able to use and you are one of the first wrappers I’ve seen that uses some rough gems in their workings. I’m a bit new to wore wrapping and this is great stuff! Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more of your work!

Please continue the lesson on double sided pendants. Thank you.
Yes absolutely interested in seeing how to work from both sides and finish this project. I am still learning so much from your videos and find all the info very helpful.. the more detail the better. Do you always work in Sterling silver? You make it look so easy to bend the weaving wire into places that I find very hard to do with the wire I'm using. Maybe I'm using the wrong kind of wire. 26 or 24 gauge beading wire around 20 gauge or 16 gauge round wire for my frames all copper filled does not seem to bend the same and I find myself struggling to set stones with as much ease as you.
@raewillis11374 жыл бұрын
He's probably using what's called 'dead soft' wire. Wire can come in dead soft, half hard, or hard forms, where the metal can be worked easier or harder depending on the form. It may be useful to search for half hard copper wire on Rio, as dead soft can get kinks into it very easily if you aren't confident in every movement. Good luck!

But how did you get the stones to stay in? That's the part I needed and it was skipped. 😞
@judithjeffers76664 жыл бұрын
How are the stones staying in the frame?
@RaftarkJewelry4 жыл бұрын
At this stage they are just sitting in their seats, they aren’t really secured into the frame in any way. The frame is snug enough around the stones that they don’t fall out but they can very easily be removed with a small amount of pressure
