Didn't he botch the "Do Jedi live longer" question and make up for it on the backend? I thought force weilders could live longer as long as they were in sync with the force. I know that Dark Jedi and Sith most certainly have extended lifespans (as long as they're powerful enough). As it's generally accepted in the SWU that seeking out immortality is bad thing - everything has a cycle, end and beginning, so on an so forth.

I saw the first movie when I was 7 and have had a Luke doll sitting on my bedroom shelf for 40 freaking years, I walked out of that movie feeling like my dog had died. well, it's a bit complicate thing... Luke always thought that there's the force and the force abilities, and depending of how you use them you stay in the dark side or in the light side of the force. Some force abilities are more easy to do if you fall to the dark side, like the force choking. Like a normal action, if you do it with anger or in rage it's easier to do it, but it's less controllable. So luke during his prime could use a force ability that only some sith could use (the manipulation of the form of a light saber) but remining in the light side, using it with no anger. if you see the luke's part in the mandalorian he destroy a droid with the force. That's a sith ability that luke use, but without anger as you can see in the series. So a jedi can't use it because it is dangerous for him, but he has the abilities to do it p.s. Luke in fact choke the guard out of anger because he wasn't at his prime, but he didn't fall into the dark side
