If you bring that doll into another house that house is probably not haunted anymore, but the new one is because the transfer of locations. The Canadian space programme chooses astronauts based partly on their ability to communicate, because that's what they'll have to do once they come back to Earth. They must also be proficient in both official languages.

The best part of this video is how the response to Sci-Fi scenarios isn't "Not possible" but a "We don't know how to do that." Wish I was half that humble.

I'm a little puzzled by that response because we apparently do know how to do it. It's being worked on by NASA scientist Dr. Harold White (and others, I'm sure). This is not to say that the technology's been fully developed by us yet but in theory, we know it's possible by contracting the space in front of a spacecraft and expanding it behind. This method allows a craft to travel faster than light without breaking any known laws of Physics.

Its more accurate to say it might be possible by contracting and expanding space, there are a lot of unknowns. As far as I can tell Commander Hadfield is correct. We don't know if that kind of phenomenon is even possible to achieve let alone feasible to induce and actually be able to propel objects with mass Faster than light. In short we are no where near understanding that kind of travel, there is no technology to develop as it is way beyond us currently.

The experience to back up the knowledge and plus we are all older and willing to learn now. I doubt many would have paid attention to him as a kid, it can seem very boring for the young mind
