This is what makes you the Exceptional seller of "Lego lights". Your attention to detail is always on point. To show how diverse your product is was very awesome

Wow man. The more I watch you with your lights the more I’m thinking I’ll get on board with it. I like this method very much.

This is really clever. Thank you for sharing. But it makes me realize just how much more clever are your connectors. With these tile-style connectors, you always have to keep the polarity in mind, whereas with your connectors, the design appears to eliminate that issue.
@BevinsBricksWorld Жыл бұрын
Yes with the tile connectors you do need to keep polarity in mind. But that simply means wire always to the inside of the build. With the magnets you are correct the polarity is the same on all.

I'll say it again Bub, you made an absolutely GREAT product here! As we are currently in the market for a home, all my Lego sets have been torn down, boxed up per set, and getting ready for whenever that moving day comes in! After that, I've decided that will be the perfect time to create my own Lego channel, as I will have to rebuild all my sets again, I might as ell record them all at that point yes no? Might I suggest that you sell as many of your magnetic connectors and modular connectors because after seeing the quality and capabilities of your new accessories, I don't think it will be too long before we see LEGO starts building their very own brand name version of these!
@BevinsBricksWorld Жыл бұрын
I don't see Lego doing lighting but I think it's only a matter of time before bigger lighting companies do everything I offer.

Thank you for sharing this with us! I started working on a fairly large house last night and will consider this technique as I build it.

You can acheive this with a footprint of 2x2 studs (per connector) instead of the 2x3 stud footprint you have here, should anyone so require it. It's worked very well for me!
@BevinsBricksWorld Жыл бұрын
I like it a bit longer to give the wire more room, but you are absolutely correct :)

@@BevinsBricksWorld In fairness my MILs plates are deeper then the usual (I feel it gives me more creative options), so I have more verticallity for wires to be routed cleanly :)
@BevinsBricksWorld Жыл бұрын
Being deeper is a big advantage for detail and would also think strength as well.

@@BevinsBricksWorld What's the 0.8mm pitch JST you're using? If you're willing to say!
@BevinsBricksWorld Жыл бұрын
.8mm jst :) Sorry, it's counterproductive to show and tell people where to buy every part I use.

That’s awesome, thank you! How many Modulars do you think it is possible to chain without risking to overheat the first Modular’s connector cable?
@BevinsBricksWorld Жыл бұрын
Assuming 10 leds per building, 10 buildings, which is 1 amp of total load. I have tested these up to 2.5 amps but I recommend no more than 1 amp.

Year late to voice an opinion, but those picky ab illegal and legal building techniques: just replace the two-pin technic brick with two headlight bricks. Should work just as fine
@BevinsBricksWorld2 ай бұрын
It does, but I like using the technic bricks as they are typically cheaper 😉
