Installed "FLAWLESSLY"! Directions were perfect. Be sure to have a MAGNETIC screwdriver so as to not drop/lose the screws. They tend to be at an odd angle when coming out. I was concerned about the connectivity with my OtterBox iPhone case... (Thickness) - zero issues. Thanx!

Why does it not fit the lt suburban model but fits the ltz? Everything looks like it would match up to me?

On my 2011 Chevy Silverado it wasn’t fitting properly but I installed it the other way where the little blue and red light are at the top of the center console and it fit perfectly only had to use a small drill bit for new screw holes . I initially installed it the way the vid shows and it did not fit

Does leaving the charger on run the vehicle battery down?

When not in use it draws milliamps and should not draw down the battery. If you're concerned though, you can press and hold the button for 3 seconds and it will turn the charger completely off.

No - it draws very little power when not in use and would take months to drain.

Yes, unless you connect via bluetooth. The charger simply charges the phone.

It will charge through most cases - but the performance depends on the thickness of the case.

Why do you need to disconnect the battery for this install?

It is always a good idea to disconnect the battery during install when doing electrical modifications. Some components get unplugged which can cause error lights.
