Here's how to close any sales interview: You should ask/say these last questions to your interviewer. 1. In your experience, what are the characteristics in a successful candidate? 2. From our conversation, did you see any of those characteristics in me? (Assuming you are fit for the job, interviewer would agree, see step 3. If not it'll be a chance to rebuttal) 3. Great, then this means that you're comfortable in moving me to the next round, correct? I've gotten great feedback from this close and works every time.

Yes in sales you build rapport by asking questions, listening to the customer, and advising what the best product for the customer is based on their needs. There are other things you can do as well such as matching voice tonality, mimicking hand gestures, and repeating adjectives the customer uses. Once you have rapport, the customer will then be more likely to listen to your advice and do what you advise. Closing simply comes down to asking the customer for their business and giving your company a chance to win them over. You do need to know technical specs of your products, but the key to making sales is having the customer talk more than you do. People who talk too much are crappy sales people. People who ask questions and listen well are the top sales people.

There is a bunch of good questions you can ask. I like questions that have to do with career advancement and future opportunity. Also you could ask what the particular stores biggest opportunities are and then relate your strengths to those opportunities. Hope that helps.

How to upsell. They will probably name a specific accessory like Bluetooth earpiece or speaker and ask how you would sell it. It’s actually pretty fun, I enjoy it a lot. Aside from learning the system it’s pretty easy if iI just be myself and ask the right questions when selling. Basically they want you to ask questions like where the customer lives, works and plays to get a better understanding of the products you can sell them. Ask good open end questions and always assumed the sale. Main thing is I just go to make money and have fun doing it. I make my customers comfortable and make them laugh. I feel it’s a good tactic because they feel more at home buying stuff. And the more stuff I sell the more commission I make. It’s the best job I’ve had so far and I’ve worked in about every industry

If your personable, coachable, and motivated, I'd hire you without hesitation, everybody has to start somewhere. A big positive is you don't have bad habits or a know it all set in your ways....It will come down to that particular store manager and how they feel about it, if they go with another candidate don't give up, you can easily succeed without prior experience if you want it bad enough.....Good Luck!

I have watched this video a couple times and tomorrow I have an interview with a wireless company. I'm a bit confused when you talk about pulling out your phone and selling your device, but dive into asking the customer about their needs/wants. If that is the case, what is the point of pulling your phone out and talking about your phone? From another point, are you focusing on talking about the device in general, but really diving into the customer's needs and what types of products they need and sell them on that device? I do appreciate this video as well as your insight from the inside. With regards to sales, I've had a different experience being that I used to be an Admission Counselor and would recruit for a college to bring kids to the institution. My biggest perk that I have going is that I would lead my institution from leads to conversions 3 years in a row which is a great point you make about the video.
@DirkHagandTruth6 жыл бұрын
Mike Oxier great question. What I mean by discovering their needs and wants when selling your device in the interview is. Do you think it would be more effective if I started naming every spec and feature my phone has to offer or finding out what you will be using the phone for most and telling you how this phone would benefit you in those areas. In selling wireless, a lot of people fall into wanting to talk about processor speed and ghz quad/octacore, MP, screen resolution, types of lingo.99% of customers do not care about these details, they want to know how that device is going to benefit them for their specific lifestyle. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU IN YOUR NEW CAREER!
@mikeoxier27336 жыл бұрын
Cody, after I wrote my question, I had to go back and edit it as I started to understand what you said. I have probably listened to that part of the video about the sales pitch 10 times. I'm specifically researching right now the things that would line up with my note 5 and being prepared for when I ask them about their needs to target what bundles, devices, accessories that would fit their needs. Thank you so much for responding to me and helping me prepare for this job. I agree 100% that if you don't know the customer's needs, how can you know how to service them. I have goals to see if the interviewer has a watch on, ask them about their family, hobbies, work, lifestyle, and gage what would be best for them. Do you recommendation if you actually own some of the accessories to showcase that this accessory I have and here is why I love having or using it?

Cody - I was offered the job within 1 hour after the interview. I want to say thank you! jhnsb Gotta start out by applying for the job and passing the assessment, they can't really talk to you till then. Once that's complete get an elevator pitch for yourself on why they should hire you. Go in on a weekday during morning or early afternoon to ask for the manager, dressed to impress. Let them know you applied and took the assessment, tell them what seperates you from everybody else, again elevator pitch not a novel, don't want to ramble or lose their attention. I'm wondering if you could answer a tech question for me about storage space on the cell .. it keeps saying I'm almost out of storage space in fact yesterday it said I had no storage space left and it would not allow me to do updates.. so I deleted some apps that were there that I don't use anyway and I deleted Facebook which was constantly sending me notifications. That freed me up a little bit but I still have very little space left and I know I can get a little bit more if I delete some vids that I recorded myself.. artistic stuff and whatnot.. but I really don't want to erase those and right now I have nothing backed up as I don't have a computer right now. I noticed on my KZbin I have a lot of liked videos and a lot of favorite videos can you tell me if I get most of those off my list will that give me more space or do those not make a difference ?
@DirkHagandTruth6 жыл бұрын
gardensofthegods KZbin videos don't take any space, they are streamed so no memory needed. Depending on the phone you have, an SD card could help you, a lot depends on your internal memory size. Some phones internal memory is so minimal that with some of the apps now, the phone will never run properly.
@gardensofthegods6 жыл бұрын
Wow I must say I did not expect an answer so swiftly... thank you for your prompt response. It's a two-year-old Samsung S7 and my carrier is trying to convince me that I absolutely must get a new phone and if not then to get a new battery. Yes I think I probably do need an SD card .. but I don't use any fancy apps I just use the basics like Google , google maps and KZbin as you can see here. But it seems some new apps. On my phone like S Health.. which is a Samsung app... so like I said I'm pretty stupid about this stuff.. if I don't use that app is it actually still using up storage space ?... that and a few other new ones showed up even though I deleted some yesterday. I don't know if that helps you at all my answer probably is not very good .
@DirkHagandTruth6 жыл бұрын
gardensofthegods yea the SD card will help on the phone, but to that representatives point, the battery on that phone being over 2 years old probably needs changed. It's a tough one because it's internal, you can just pop the back off. If the phone gets overly hot and or loses charge quickly that is a give away. In that case your probably better off upgrading. That gives you new battery, more storage and some new updated specs. If you keep that device, get an SD card and use the app on your phone called my files to free up storage on your internal memory. The apps on your phone take up memory whether they are running or not. Most can't be deleted and can't be moved to SD, but your S7 has at least 16gb on board memory so your more than likely using a lot of space on music, pictures, or videos. All of which can be moved to the SD card. Hope that helps.
@gardensofthegods6 жыл бұрын
Thank you again for responding so quickly.. yes I get very nervous dealing with these phones cuz I'm always afraid I'm going to accidentally delete something important that's why I don't like messing with it. I can't pop off the back.. this is not that kind of phone.. it's sealed really tight.. I miss the other kind where you could just pop off the back.. that is one of the things I hate about these newer ones. I'll get that app but I'll have to get my son to help me with it. I'm a little uncertain as to what you mean by music taking up some space because I don't have any music stored on here but I do have a lot of liked and favorite videos but you said that doesn't take up space because you said those are live streamed.
@gardensofthegods6 жыл бұрын
Also I deleted the Facebook app and yet it keeps coming back on with the notifications so can I assume the Facebook is actually still there and not deleted even though the visual symbol of the app is gone. Like you said we can't really get rid of some of the apps.
