Great stuff, do tweeters affect ohm load. If you connect a 4ohm tweeter and a 6.5 speaker in parralell would it be 2ohms or 4ohms

Nice setup, i want to connect 2 tweeters in serie, so i put the 2 included capacitors in parallel on the positive and the tweets in serie? Or just no capacitors and turn the hpf up to 5khz or so on my full range amplifier.

just remove 1 capacitor and wire tweeters in series, tune hpf crossover to about 4khz. *reach out to my ig if you need further assistance 😀.

@@RicardoCruz-c4g midrange on 3&4, tweeter on 1&2 you can use combo series or parallel wiring to achieve optimum ohm load. you can also bridge channels for maximum output of amplifier

if soldering is not available, use crimp connection. use a method that will guarantee conductivity

I have 2 tweeters and and a driver in which they’re all 8ohms, assuming I connect the 2 tweeters in series to the driver in parallel, what is the resulting ohms in this setup? I have an amp that outputs 1600 @ 4ohms bridged and want to ensure im connecting the speakers to the amp correctly and maximize the power being delivered

So the (+) of the tweeter with the capacitor goes to the (+) of the horn driver? Then the (-) of the tweeter with the capacitor goes to the (+) of the second tweeter then connect the (-) of the second tweeter to the (-) of the horn driver? Is this correct? Or off

I've been trying to figure this out with my horn driver. I bought a box from somebody and thought the driver was bad but its not, it sounds like a tweeter. I thought the compression driver supposed to be loud. Could something be wired wrong? Or does it have the the wrong capacitor on the driver.

using the proper capacitor is critical, its either going to sound good or be damaged. you can look online for guides for proper selection.

the same way you wire the midrange speakers to amplifier, positive connection to positive output of amplifier ( +) negative connection to negative output of amplifier.

you can connect any speaker together as long as your amplifier can handle it. as well they will share same frequencies coming from amplifier. in theory you can connect an infinity amount of speakers to any amplifier.

I use 14awg most of the time, on competition speakers I use 12awg. On subwoofer I also use 12awg, on competition subs 10awg

Usually it's marked with either + or a red stripe If neither is present assume right is positive.

I usually recommend 1000 - 2000 watts for these products. 250 - 500 rms x4 is appropriate.
