This ESP controller blows out the Rachio Controller. You can replace parts on this if they go out instead of replacing the whole controller. Might want to add a point of it you get this go for the outdoor model vs the indoor model. The outdoor model has a better power supply vs the indoor model and it comes with a lock on the cover. Great video!

Does rainbird esp support monitoring weather from internet weather data? I can't find much info on that, everything I see you need a physical rain guage.

I have a irratrol weather station hooked to mine. Would be kind of foolish to use google data for the surrounding area to monitor weather. Last Sunday and today everywhere around me got over an inch of rain per event and I got nothing.

Great work. Sink that board into the wall between the studs so the timer/controller is flush mounted and not sticking out so far.
