Seems for the added expense he should have sprung for a more compact Lithium XS power battery, or similar, and placed it in the engine bay. Pro tip from a car audio installer. After you crimp those heavy gauge ends, fill the gaps inside with silver solder. You'd be amazed at how much empty air gap/space is left in there after the crimp.

If you’re going to run a remote battery and there is any place the cable might get pinched or rub you will want a fuse no more than a foot away from the battery. So many vehicles have gone up in smoke because they forgot the fuse.

It'll run better and better once it has coolant and an actual signal from the coolant temp sensor. I run a Terminator X on my Ranger 302 swap, and when the coolant temp sent false reading it got wild quick. I also used an adapter for the Schrader valve in the fuel rail to use a pressure sensor so my heads up display has fuel pressure on it as well. Another benefit of that is it further helps the Terminator calibrate even finer.

My sniper called for 2-8% iac at idle. I can idle mine down to 400rpms. She's not exactly responsive at that low idle. One thing I did to help the self-learning was set the idle to several different points. Up to 2500, let it settle and learn the fuel then down to 400 to let it learn. Then 2300, then 500. It ensures you'll have a decent low load, low rpm fuel table tuned so the engine won't stall on your maiden voyage. Good luck with it.

As for now I am going to run the Holley software which has a full instrument cluster on a tablet mounted by the console, when I get it back from LT I'm going to attempt to use Novak's guide to wiring to make the jeep gauges work and if that doesn't work out I'll just install Holley EFI gauges in the factory cluster.

But you never start anything without all the fluids being up no matter what it is that's my opinion and if I had that kind of f****** money involved in that thing probably wouldn't be happy not really happy now but it's not my business
