Well stated ladies. Refs definitely need to go back and review the game and be disciplined on the incorrect calls and Flaujae should definitely be suspended first game in tournament as well for initiating the start if you go by the rules.

It’s amazing to me that the world is not questioning why Johnson was not suspended. Johnson threw the initial forearm shiver to the face of Watkins, and connected. Actually the fact that she threw a punch is grounds for suspension. Van Lith shoved Cordoso, and nothing. Johnson was shoved by Cordoso, because she threw that forearm shiver. Let’s not make it seem SC are a bunch of thugs. LSU was pulling hair l, throwing elbows, and initiated the chirping. Lastly, Maulkey is classless! Make it make sense.

I agree with everything, but the rule book should be more specific because I don't think that meets the definition of a fight. If so all of the NBA would be suspended.

I’m not the brightest but bumping or pushing someone isn’t a fight. A fight takes 2 people. Other than that it’s an assault. kC shouldn’t be penalized because she’s bigger. If they define a fight as pushing or bumping some outside of play. 2 LSU players should be suspended and Reese should have fouled out of the games. They let her beat on KC.

3 LSU players should have been ejected. Angel pulled Kamilla's hair so hard she fell down. Flaujae pushed Ashlyn Watkins and Hailey Van Lif pushed Kamilla. They should all have received the same discipline as Kamilla.

Stop sugar coating what KC did. It did not happen during the game. And she was not even on the floor at that time. All the hair pulling and jabbing that happens during the game is common in all high stakes games so you can't use that to justify the bad behavior by Cardoso. Staley knows this and that's why she apologized. LSU was pretty banged up in the previous game. No one talked about this because it's part of the game. FJ's actions did not elicit the kind of reaction KC had, as FJ was just upset and walking away from Watkins when Cardoso jumped her. That was a mean shove and if FJ was not as strong as she is, I am sure that would have been another concussion. Comparing HVL.shove against Cardoso is what should be described as protecting a teammate, since clearly FJ was in danger after that shove from Camilla.

Elbowing and hair pulling is an ejectable offense and not common, especially the elbows lsu threw directly at her head…. Also who gives a damn if lsu was banged up. What does that have to do with it?

@@jcsandstorm919 Only flagrant fouls lead to ejections. I've seen elbowing and all sorts of strong plays without any ejections. Otherwise teams would not be able to play their rosters the way they did these past few weeks. I can't remember when anyone was ejected for an elbow (Czinano fouled out after unleashing one on Angel in the last NCAA championship but it was not "ejectable "). The point is what KC did wasn't protecting her team mate(Watkins was in no danger and certainly not really threatened by FJ) but intended to hurt FJ for something that commonly occurs during games for a team on the losing end. They foul intentionally. Ofcourse FJ was upset with Watkins rubbing it in her face so and blocking her way so she shoved her aside and continued to walk away. That's a sign for someone not intending to engage or harm someone else.. If you can't see that, then you'll understand it only when it happens to you one day.
