Thanks Brenton for another new video at a new location! What a VERY cozy town and street that looks like it gets some vehicle traffic. I will also have to look up the Union House. Looks like a nice restaurant and I wonder if the food is good there.

It's a very nice little town indeed. There is the town of Genesee and this is Genesee Depot, just a short distance away. It got the name of obvious reasons. :P It's quite a picturesque little place, which is why I chose it. The road is State Highway 83 so there's a good amount of traffic. The speed limit is 25 through town and people heeded the crossing signals' warning. I was wondering the same thing about The Union House as I was standing there waiting for the train to show up.

Thanks for your interesting comments. That Union House looks like a GREAT place for a meal. With all the traffic in the town on this highway, I wonder if these signals will be upgraded with gates in the coming years like in other small towns. And the signals went off VERY fast after the last car passed over the crossing which was interesting to see.

This crossing and many others along this sub are slated to get new signals, with gates, since there is a planned track upgrade allowing for faster train speeds.

The Horicon-Janesville train heads out in the morning. A few weeks ago I heard them getting a warrant around 7 - 7:30. Other times they come through later. The train out of Janesville used to leave in the afternoon, like 4:00'ish. That was 5 or 6 years ago though. I'm not sure what their call time is anymore. I honestly haven't chased anything on this line since they pulled the wig-wag in Lima Center. Catching them at Highway D from 2015 was just a fluke. I was driving through Waukesha and got stopped by them on Main Street, so I figured I'd do a quick video. There were a couple people at Mac Arthur Road taking pictures yesterday and a few people saw me set up in Genesee Depot and hooked a U-turn to get some pics of him coming through as well. It sounded like they were going to chase him for a while, which isn't hard to do with the slow orders. I'll probably do a few more videos along this sub this year.

That explains it. If I get any WSOR, it'll probably be Madison, but IDK when they come through

I was in Madison a few weeks ago and saw the train to Janesville going under the beltline around 8:30 am. I've also heard horns in the afternoon. Never really went looking to see exactly where they were though. There's a decent amount of trackage in Madison so you could find them just about anywhere if you looked long enough. Traffic sucks in Madison, unfortunately.

Usually twice a day but I don't think the T4 runs Sunday and Monday.

This is the Wisconsin & Southern Waukesha Sub, by the way. Not CN's Waukesha Sub. So aside from WSOR trains, there is no other traffic.
