You all are the WAY and the Light. You get serious and that is why I am here. I too was Episcopalean and Russian Orthodox and now a Red Road Warrior. I walk in peace. No grudge. No illwill. I pray with Secret Pipe.I can Treat as you say, “I can treat every man and woman as the AVATAR.” He is me. I am Him. We are in this together. Indigenous Men are to me, Fathers of Traditions with Happy Women and Happy Babies. A way of four leaf intercession hurling us all straight in perfect Center. As above so below. Bless you

I say Secret. I mean Sacred. Among my very white town ship…. my pipe for tobacco means nothing to them. I must use it for these times occasionally to send my meet his share of mana. We are at a distance. Without White Bison I could not love again. I can love again and witness your Truth and Wisdom. Drum. Sacred Staff, Pipe. and I hear Great Spirti in the Tone of your Voices.

I helped make this film and had an incredible moment as we all stood in a circle to say a prayer to Mother Earth. As we started our prayer, a circle of eagles formed above us in a circle. This production was truly blessed and sacred. There is so much wisdom shared in this video, it has stayed with me forever. Man must return to balance soon. Modern western society has brought everything out of balance and our children suffer. Return the hand of man into the hand of God, or perish.

I am a white lady born in Washington DC and I have needed to pray in old ways since around 4 years old. And volunteering at Pow wow over 30 years no one was brave enough to allow me with a needy heart to their ceremonial grounds. In 2009 the Creator permitted me to find not only one but two Sundance communities one in Maryland and one in West Virginia that allowed me to participate as a supporter a decade. I will always appreciate the Lakota Nation fostering a bastard and like myself born in the lap of the colony knowing it was evil from the time I was little. I also am trying in my own way to not mend fences but to remove them so that we can all be one and judged on the walks in our hearts not the knowledge in our heads or who we were born too. Thank you very much for all you've done

We are all relations and I thank you for sharing this truth and wisdom. I am learning about my culture and the Red Road. I have heard the Red Road mentioned during ceremonies but did not know what it meant until now. I was taken away from my people in 1977. It was Canadian Law that single Cree mothers could not keep their children. I grew up knowing nothing about the teachings, traditions, wisdom or language of my people. I am a Christian and that will never change but I know now I don't need to choose one or the other. It is a daily walk and just as the Elder said " Our whole lives are a prayer to the creator" Jesus said" We must pick up our cross and follow him daily". It isn't about me and what I can do. It's about walking in a good way. It's about loving my neighbor and God with all of my heart. I believe this is the Red Road. I have attended 4 sweatrlodges now. 2 times there has been an Eagle flying overhead. The first time was a Bald Eagle and two days ago it was a Golden Eagle. I believe that is a good sign. I am going to continue on this path of learning the wisdom and teachings of my people.

This video is a blessing. I never knew about this film. My dear friend Dave Chief never mentioned it. Wouldnt be like him anyway, heard him talk about films he was not in though.Other than his movie work in westerns, its hard to find Dave on film. If you only knew Dave from ceremonies and hearing him speak, he could have a lasting effect on you. But honestly the fun ,the relaxed ease of being around Dave is what I treasured most. His quick but gentle sense of humor, funny but never making fun of anyone. Out in Daves yard, smoking cigarettes with Ed Little Crow ,Chris Mizerak and Dave...Dorethy and the other ladies cooking dinner and laughing about something, probably us. ..Grizzly Peak looms over all, catching the last orange glow of sunset. ..or the time we went up the plateau to cut lodgepoles for Daves year of New Moon ceremonies. The roads were still snowed in and we left the truck and tried to walk the rest. After trudging uphill for over a mile,we saw the lodgepole pines still a mile away. Then it hit us, as we stood in the knee deep snow : How we gonna get all those poles 2 miles back to the truck? Then,''Hey,I thought you brought the saw''... Dave and me both started laughing under the cold blue mountain sky as we lit a Pall Mall and turned back............ There are some people that you remember pretty much every moment you ever hung out with them. And I remember every moment hanging with Dave out by the lake or that little trailer in Ashland like it was an hour ago... Thank you God that you send people like Dave Chief among us.

For many years of my life I was troubled. I too walked the black road for many years, not knowing who I was and where I fitted into the world. It was about 5 years ago when my parents travelled overseas to catch up with their family. When they returned my Dad joked about the discovery my Mum's cousin made, my Dad's joke was my awaking it was my greatest moment in life. Everything just fell into place for me like who I was and why my heart is what it is. That discovery my 2nd cousin made was that my great great Grandmother was/is LAKOTA. Now days I do not identify as being an Australian, I am proud of my heritage so very much that I identify myself as an Australian, Native American. I am honoured to be part of the great Buffalo Nation. Ever since finding out where my bloodline runs I've been learning the Lakota language and culture and in all honesty, I've never been prouder. May the Great Mystery give my people the strength to endure what the white colonists have done and still doing to you till the Buffalo run free once again.

The native people took to me as I shared the wisdom of my people as they shared the wisdom of theirs. The “empires” of today stand on pillars of material and ego. The true great civilizations were killed by those who mistake the black path. However they have made preserved the wisdom of what is truly spirit. Sa boko ma namem.

They tried to kill off the Native Americans but we widely populate the land. We carry the spirit of gentleness, kindness & giving, even though it's misunderstood or mocked by many. It continues to baffle me, and to deepen my respect for the elder Natives, to hear them speak, to this day, of United States government with respect. After all the horrors that have taken place and continue to. At 52:40 the elder talks of "Genocide Law" and "measures against the rights of indigenous people" as instituted by the United Nations, when in fact these issues belong to the very fact of being human. There should be no need to reduce them to political rights. Only the insane would need them at this mechanical level. The disregard of said stated rights has been and continues to be horrendous. And still the mature Native man speaks slowly, evenly, with respect. But I see in his hand, his downcast eyes, the infinite sorrow. This documentary is exceptional. I watch and listen over and over. Thank you for it.

We have lived in harmony with nature cycles and communities were strong and supportive . Begin by sitting or lying down comfortably, closing your eyes, and relaxing all the muscles in your body. Take slow, intentional breaths, visualizing the radiant light that permeates all existence. Inhale deeply, filling your lungs with pure, white light, and exhale fully, releasing all negativity. Envision this luminescence enveloping you, seeping into every cell, and filling your heart with its essence. With each breath, the light grows brighter, becoming the very fabric of your being. In this state of unity, you will understand the fundamental nature of the universe: pure, unconditional love. As you continue to breathe in the radiance, you want to breathe very, very slowly with your belly, keeping your chest still. Time loses meaning, and reality's boundaries blur. You become one with the light. In this sacred space, you can now direct the light to a specific part of your body, visualize your aura growing more vibrant, or shine the light on someone you focus on, cultivating a deeper connection. A sasquatch elder explained this to me telepathically. Good luck on your journey!

Being A Ojibway Woman stolen in the 60`s scoop and from the time I found out I prayed to find my culter that was stolen. When I had my 2 children I got my 2 teachers and many more elders teachings the oldest a 110 year old man and his wife,my children learned with me as we would do cerimonies all over North America,my children grew up and my tachers died leaving me with many teachings.I`m 50 know and havn`t been to a cerimonie but it`s still in my heart. We must go threw an innisiation and after about 4 years we`re not allowed to just share unless we`re asked proper. This is how we learned and it was one of my jobs to make sure noone had a pen or pencil and no film was aloud either and all woman and girls were made to were skirts that represent the TP.the home and woman have there jobs and men have there`s.Wingushjeepcunun From Windsor Ontario

@@thepracticalmystic8525 I don't think it's disrespectful as my children's father is Irish both having their status as his father being a generational political world leader ,having a front-row seat to the BS as he made Divorce Legal in Canada for him & Pierre having a front row seat to the evil these political leaders do, as the many times I'd ask what he ate when he dined with the demon child-killing royals. I have been speaking out on what I was taught as it took 2 years to be trusted as I was out @ 13 after being abused & finding my teaching I raised them learning what was stolen he wanted me to call his grandson the 3rd his uncle the 2nd I named him Tecumseh helping the Mayor keep the Town named that in 95 as they wanted it part of Windsor, Many Blessings with Kindness to you.

I greatly thank you for this documentary, I would like to know as much as possible about the beliefs, values and spiritual truths of the Lakota people. You are the true and entrusted custodians, whose Elders carry much wisdom, teaching and understanding which the youth, who have enough wisdom to listen, need to hear and learn from.

Thank you for sharing this video. I know that people will carry the traditions of knowing that we are all one with everything in the universe. The creator shows me the way of nature and gives me the thirst for knowledge of wanting to learn about everything and how it connects to the universe. The big picture,. I think people need to know the real history of this nation. Stand up for what's right.
