does anybody know if any other banks impose that 24 hour rule that you have to keep the money in the account? I usually move 2000 between lloyds, hsbc and chase all in the same day, in order to get the perks from each account

I am so confused with this deal, so I actually opened natwest on 21st of October 😐now I am thinking to upgrade from current to the reward one to get 180 GBP ( I know how switch works with other banks ) but I don't get this part with natwest when I already have the account like do I just upgrade it and that's all, or if I need to switch from natwest to silver reward how do I do it in the way I am eligible for the deal if that makes sense thank you

Andy, youve left out an important criterion for getting the monthly rewards - you have to pay in £1250 every month to the Natwest account.

Nope, you cannot just "Upgrade" as you need to Switch from another provider. But you can switch if you already have a normal account with NatWest...

​@@MM-hh6nsYou can upgrade your existing standard NatWest account to Rewards account, but then to get the switching bonus you need to switch an account with another bank into your NatWest Rewards account. It's quite easy to set up a dummy account, especially as you don't need any direct debits on the dummy account for this offer.

To get the switching bonus you need to switch an account from another bank, not NatWest (or Royal Bank of Scotland or Ulster bank). You can upgrade an existing NatWest account to a Reward account first, and then switch across the external account.

Hi Andy. Sorry for being thick. Do I need to set up two direct debits on my dummy account to qualify for this deal when moved. I am not sure about the direct debits could you explain a little bit more. Thanks for your channel by the way. Since watching you I have made over 1k switching accounts.

not even £60 interest after 1 year for the 6.17% natwest saver as limit is only £150 per month! nice headline but that is all! utter scam. You can get more with normal savings account at 4.85% if you have at least £1300, not a huge amount for most

Drip feed it from a lower interest account to the higher NatWest one. The NatWest account also has no end date, I have 3.5k in mine now. I bet it is somewhat insulated from interest rate drops too with such a low monthly funding amount.

The switches are all coming back! Love it. Got my nationwide one just today - £175, literally paying the cost of flights to morroco in January! Hoorah.
