Not too many musicians had a chance to play with two of the greatest guitarists in their career. Of course Reese Wynans is one of the finest musicians himself who can stand toe to toe with these giants,

This show was here in Denver at red rocks it’s a venue that should be on everybody’s bucket lists to see a concert at. I was fortunate enough to be at this show it was on a warm Aug night and it was magical I have seen him 3 times since this show he comes for 2 nights every August can’t wait for this year’s show

Bonamassa and Red Rocks: What. Could be better……one of the best venues in the country. Last time I was there was the summer of 1970.

I first got into Joe in 2008. this was the first song I fell in love with. I'm fortune enough to live in Denver and have been to Red Rocks about 75 times in the past 45 years. I've seen him three times at RR and once downtown Denver. my Wife and I have been on his Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea cruises a couple of times. RIP Michael Rhodes, he was an incredible bass player. Reese Wyman is a HoF member of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Anton Fig on the Drums., former David Letterman drummer. Kirk Fletcher on Rhythm Guitar. he's a great player and the nicest guy. This show was dedicated to Wolf and Waters, but all of the stuff they do is great. you guys need to do more and more Joe.

Not only is Joe Bonamassa, one of the great blues guitar players, and just a great bluesman. He always has the best musicians in his band. Every musician on that stage is one of the greats on their instrument. Can never go wrong with Joe Bonamassa. This is a great version of this song but I honestly prefer the version from Royal Albert Hall. Either way, awesome. There’s a long list of songs and videos of Joe Bonamassa that you need to check out. Enjoyed the reaction 👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙

I recently took my daughter to one of Joe's concerts. I explained to her before they started that nobody gets on a stage with Joe unless they are world class. She was blown away by the totality of the talent on the stage. And Reese Wynans has a new young fan in her. Great music cannot be denied.

Speaking of the blues, I would love it if you both reacted to another Jonny Lang song - Hit the Ground Runnin', Still Rainin', Wander this World, Darker Side - those would be great options. I think it was around his third album that Jonny made the decision to follow Jesus. So his later stuff changes quite a bit, adding gospel flavors in the mix. The lyrics change too. It's all good stuff either way when it comes to this guy.

Not complaining about this video choice, but I would’ve preferred you to have done the song from The Royal Albert Hall. I would’ve loved to have watch you witness what I call the duelling guitars.

Counterpoint: He obviously has chops, nobody can deny that, but there's nothing new, innovative, unique or extraordinary, and most importantly, he leaves me completely unmoved, and I'm a guitar music guy, and if it doesn't move me somehow, joy or sadness, pleasure or pain, any of those are worthwhile in my book, then it doesn't make the cut for me. I can say the same thing about Japanese Girl Metal bands. Impressive chops, but something essential is missing.
