Blast from the past! I was cabin crew in 2003 - yes 20 years ago! I lived on the 42 floor of the Millennium Tower. There was nothing next to the tower but sand and the Burj Khalifa was just a giant hole in the ground. When I moved in construction hadn't started yet but when I left there was a massive, deep hole which was to be for the foundation of the Burj Khalifa . I would sit at my window of my apartment on the 42 floor, look down at the machines digging the massive hole and it looked liked toy trucks in a kid's sand pit :)

I was Emirates Cabin Crew and I used to live in Al Faltat Building in Bur Dubai close to Bur Juman. This looks so much better. I stopped working for Emirates in september 2019

Trust me, your not gonna wanna be a FA anymore. The job sucks now and is very dangerous and dirty onboard. People are disgusting and now with coronavirus having to wear masks gloves and suits is very uncomfortable and sweaty. The job is not what it used to be. My advice, find a better career~

I wish so bad to work in aviation.. During studying I was working at the airport ..as waitress tho.. but loved meeting people all over the world.. Now few months ago I got accepted on position of airport agent and the moment my training was about to start..covid19 happened and they canceled all further employment .. so i ended up unemployed last 4 months ... I really hope this situation calms down and I can soon start my career in aviation 🙏 great channel btw ! good work u guys did here ❤️

Being a cabin crew is truly rewarding, but not enough for very ambitious people. Not saying I'm a super ambitious person, but I do have projects that need full devotion and hard work. Being a cabin crew not only is very tiring and time consuming, but is dangerous for ones health (not to mention there is no retirement benefit, if you do have to pay that out of your own pocket, it does defeat the entire idea of making more money abroad). Indeed I'd repeat it all over again, but in my case, 4-5 years were more than sufficient. I love the aviation world, will stay in that focus for a long time, but not like a cabin crew.

yes, but theres a certain type of glasses, when u get accepted, the grooming officer has to aprove it or you'll have to change the model.

Yes,for no longer than a 30 day stay twice a year,with the approval of head office first of course..forms have to be filled out well in advance of their arrival and all rules have to be adhered to,hope this helps.
