Wishlist Plant Unboxing: Philodendron Barrosoanum!
Imagine my surprise when I rechecked clicked NSE’s Barrosoanum's page… and found it available for purchase through a ghost restock! I immediately purchased this long-coveted philodendron. However instead of responsibly checking care and other photos first, I purchased the plant and then realized that I didn’t like all the photos I was seeing on Google.
I hope with time I am able to recreate the conditions needed to grow this plant into a mature specimen and into the photos that NSE tropical had posted. NSE had also posted that the plants they have for sale have leaves of about 8 inches long. I don’t think that’s accurate.
The packaging, however, was perfect, came wrapped in tons of paper and then secured in place with tape. The soil was also held in place by a damp paper towel that had also been taped down. There was a leaf that was slightly snapped however I understand the stress of shipping plants. Thanks for joining me in this rare plant unboxing. Until next time!
