his name is letho and his nickname is the kingslayer he's actually gerult's former friend turned assassin and even though he doesn't remember him he tends get little bit's of memory back one at a time and the main story is a story about justice and revenge. So i have a recommendation here. THE WITCHER 2: ASSASSINS OF KINGS All Cutscenes (Roche Path) Game Movie 1080p HD by Gamer's Little Playground

The girl=> Saesenthessis, commonly known amongst people as Saskia the Dragonslayer or the Virgin of Aedirn, was a dragon with the ability to take on the form of a human. She was a key player in the battle of Vergen and depending on the outcome, queen of the independent realm of Upper Aedirn. She was the daughter of the famous golden dragon Villentretenmerth and the green dragon Myrgtabrakke.

The assassin of the last trailer, Letho, is a really cool and scary character, and this is not because of him being a very big man or a really skilled fighter, but because he is one of the smartest antagonists that Geralt has to face in the witcher games 😎😎

That's Letho of Gulet, also known as the Kingslayer. He's not really a villain, like most things in The Witcher, its way more complicated than just black and white. He is a Witcher from the school of the Viper, Geralt is from the school of the Wolf.
@Yutani_Crayven

No, he's definitely a villain. Attacking kingdoms and kings that did nothing to him, all in the name of another, not even for himself. You may say that there are some redeeming facets that can be brought about/revealed, that may make him into a bit of an anti-hero. But he's most definitely a villain.
@WolfODonnelfan
@WolfODonnelfan Жыл бұрын
@@Yutani_Crayven Funny that you call him an "anti-hero, but definetly a villain". If anything he is an anti-villain, not an anti-hero, as an anti-villain is described as 'a character who plays the role of the antagonist in the story, but who does not have the typical traits associated with a villain.' which fits Letho to a tee. An anti-villain is the opposite of an anti-hero, whereas an anti-hero does the right thing for the wrong reasons - an anti-villain does the wrong thing, but for a right reason. Letho assassinated the kings of the north so that Nilfgaard would have less opposition when invading the north, leading to a shorter war and more civilian lives spared in the long run. So calling him an anti-hero just proves that you don't understand the very definition of the words that you like to use.

I bought this game a few years ago on sale but I only got around to playing it this year. And this is a game whose story is heavily ompacted by your choices. If you ever get to playing it or watching it, i just think you need to keep that in mind because certain plot points will NEVER get explained if you only play it once. You only get the full picture of the motivations of certain characters, the fate of others in a complete playthrpugh with the different branching paths of the story.

I don't know about that, the thing I liked about Witcher 2 was that when it came to the various endings they were actually good or bad but in Witcher 3 the bad endings came with even worse results than in 2 and in the case of the good endings even in the best scenario no one comes out of it physically or emotionally unscathed.

@@The_Page_5_Chronicles Like all the witcher games, imo, the Witcher 2 is just poorly balanced overall when it comes to difficulty. In the beginning I remember it was quite harsh, then somewhere around the 2/3 mark the difficulty felt just right, and after that it was incredibly easy. Same experience as I had with the Witcher 1, although it took me a bit longer to be completely overpowered there. With the Witcher 3 they managed to change the difficulty in that in the beginning it felt quite good to fight, and shortly after that it was really easy, so idk. I'd love for them to fix that in future titles :D

Yeah, Letho is not a villain so much as a pawn in a power struggle. Yes he's killing kings, but he's sort of offered something he can't really turn down for doing it. In fact he's a good ally to have in Witcher 3 if you save him in the Witcher 2. Letho of Gulet is a member of the Viper School of Witchers, a nearly dead Witcher school, and he is offered a chance to rebuild his almost dead order if he does kill the Northern Kings. So rebuild your order if you succeed or be the last until you breath no more. It's one of the running themes in the Witcher series of games. The witchers are slowly being wiped out. Killed by monsters, murdered by the folk they save, often short changed by those that don't just outright try to murder them, fewer in number every year with almost no training schools left. a dying way of life where you sometimes walk away from a witcher who has done something horrible because the people attacked him first.
@skebaba918
@skebaba918 Жыл бұрын
It's dying because there's less & less OP monsters remaining in the world (because back when the mages created the Witcher upgrade mutagens to convert Humans into em, they did a damn good job I'd say, when comboing w/ mages themselves, i.e melee units to the ranged units that are mages of varying sorts), and thus people are less willing to actually agree to the Law of Surprise payment, especially over time as rumors & slander increase
@cstains5543
@cstains5543 Жыл бұрын
@@skebaba918 That is part of it. There's not so many major threats anymore so there's less need, but the other side can't be ignored. They are being wiped out as well. Not by everyone, but look at the witcher novels and games. Geralt, who is among the most famous of witchers, has been repeatedly attacked by mobs of townsfolk often for little or no reason other than him being a witcher. The fact that witchers are also being killed by different orders and religious sects and many of the schools have been attacked by different people also has a lot to do with witchers disappearing. School of the Wolf for instance did have a major siege at Kaer Morhen. The School of the Cat was almost entirely hunted down, in part because several members also worked as assassins, but whether someone did or not they also got hunted.

I would highly suggest playing the Witcher 2, then the Witcher 3. The Witcher 2 is basically two different games based off of choices you make. Watching videos on it and not playing it yourself just doesn’t do it justice as you might make drastically different choices than whoever you watch play. The best part is you can import your save into the Witcher 3. It doesn’t change a ton but you get different dialogue options based on your choices

Letho of Gullet, Kingslayer is a witcher. or more accurately was a witcher that of course that can never "unget" the skills he has literally had burned into his DNA. Geralt knows him well and they have quite a history, though both have actually lost much of that. Like the Witcher 1, there really is no one single "bad guy"... other than good ol Nilfgaard wanting to quite simply rule the entire continent, and the emperor thus hiring/coercing/blackmailing the absolute worst human beings born to accomplish this, though they don't know this, and him not caring what happens after or how his designs get accomplished. Adding to that, the Southern Kingdoms are still very much trying to stab as many of their neighbors in the back as they can, which leaves Geralt in a pretty messy place at the start of the game. In that same vein, there are no "correct" paths to to take. While Witcher 2 is WAY more linear than Witcher 1, there are still a ton of choices and ton of consequences. This game is also much less forgiving in "bad builds" and not learning the combat mechanics and at the time was the level of difficulty was quite controversial. Many years and patches later things are much more evened out. The three woman of the trailer are Triss Merrigold of course, Saesenthessis-Saskia the Verdant Dragon of Aedirn, and Ves the Blue Stripe. Saskia has a REALLY complicated issue in the story and Ves is LITERALLY the woman your mother warned you about, and even her commander steers her a wide berth.

@@grevensher594 That still doesn't mean he's not the antagonist or a villain in 2. I mean he was instrumental in starting the war in 3. As an antagonist, he is either directly or indirectly responsible for all of Geralts conflict in the story and is the solo motivation (player input allowing) for Geralt's journey. By literary definitions that makes him the 1 constant antagonist of a story.
