I'm Welsh but I'm not a fluent speaker. I only have a basic understanding. Could you put text up on your videos when you say the Welsh words/terms? This would help so much. Thank you for another amazing video. I'm so grateful for your channel, xxxx

I wish I’d appreciated the Mabinogi more when I was in school it’s only now in my 30s I think how much warmth I feel from the folklore of Wales. Although I was born in England I have welsh heritage. I was reading that only five people were executed in Wales for witchcraft. And in two cases the accuser was gentry 🙄 much like today, money talks. I read about Gwen ferch Ellis 🙏🏻💙

Hi Mhara. I am a Celtic Scottish Witch.. I have to say I love your work.. Many people in Scotland don't know that the ancient Scots e.g. The Picts spoke your language. Many place names in Scotland are Welsh. I am from Glasgow and some place names within Glasgow are Welsh.. I love your work. You are an inspiration,...,, I just subbed, its so great to have found you.. Thank you for what you are doing..

Not quite our language. It would’ve been a form of Brythonic. Which is like whatever was before old English was compared to English.

Your book arrived yesterday and I'm looking forward to reading it. I remember in the 60s my Mam took me to see a witch in Hirael, Bangor as my palms were covered in warts. She dipped a needle in a bowl of liquid and pricked each wart. They were gone within a week. I think her name was Mrs Locke. In the 90s I was suffering with psoriasis and my Dad got a salve from a witch near Holyhead in Ynys Mon. I remember it was made from plants and was dark brown. It helped my psoriasis.

I have just discovered your channel which is so illuminating and inspiring. I've been a witch since my teens - I'm in my 60s now - and am constantly learning new things. My family is Cornish but I have always been interested in Welsh Witchcraft though, until now, been unable to find out much about the subject. A few years ago, I started to practice Druidry and have found that it has actually added to my practice as a witch. I am now incorporating elements of both paths in my spiritual practice. Thank you once again for your videos.

Hey, I live in Sydney, in Australia, and funnily, Sydney is located in the state of New South Wales (NSW). I’m a practitioner of Goetia (an Ancient Greek form of Classical Witchcraft that has strong ties with the Grimoire Tradition). I have always loved and the magic that emanates from the British isles, I love BTW and Cunning Folk practices, and the Arthurian Legends (I work heavily with Morgana Le Fay). I’m very excited about your book and watching all your videos! And I think I may very well join your Patreon… not only are you knowledgeable, but also very lovely to listen to 🌹 TC

My mom's father was born in Wales but came to the States while still in diapers. My mom's mother was Native American. Dad's side is his father was German and his mother was a half&half of 2 different Indian Nations. I have always felt drawn to Rhiannon. In fact I created a statue of my idea of Rhiannon from polymer clay. She's a Centaur aiming her bow with 3 birds perched on the arrow. Rhiannon as creator of all birds is very intriguing to me. My legal first name is Jay. Where I live we have Jays by the thousands. First word I ever spoke was bird. When I went thru Tribal Initiation as a young adult my Elders named me Talon ( claw of predatory birds). My Native Heritage my family come from Hummingbird Clan. Speaking of my Native side and a connection to Rhiannon. In the 1500s my Tribal ancestors stole a herd of about 2000 horses and had that not happened the American Quarter Horse as it's known today wouldn't exist. I chose the name Bird's Nest for my Coven because a nest is a place of nurturing , growth , and transformation. Thanks for your videos. Wish I lived closer. Would love to sit and talk for more to learn about all things Welsh

I just started watching you and I'm loving you so far. I also realized you are the first person I have ever herd speak Welsh! Its shocks me that I have never herd Welsh before. I have two questions, one would you be willing to make a video that you only speak Welsh in and have the captions on the bottom (that might be too much to ask and if so I'm sorry) and also can you do a video about Druids, I don't completely understand who and what they were.

I'm from the U.S. (Southern California), and have been drawn to Wales for over 20 years. I never really knew why until recently, and then I find your channel last night. (April 1st, 2022). I'm incredibly fascinated by what you said in this video, but looked for your Bibliography of the books you mentioned at the end and ... can you add these? I don't know the spelling of the author names and will look for them based on title. I'm going to immerse myself in this area as I feel a significant draw towards it. (BTW, love your Baphomet statue. I have one exactly like that.) :D

I’m so excited because I adore you I love you hair and you’re beautiful with a very friendly personality and glorious voice. I love your teachings and tales from history. Sadly I’m not from Wales but some of my dna 🧬 is comprised of Welsh & Irish family ancestry ~I’m from Calgary Alberta Canada 🇨🇦. My question is; do you know if any of the witches murdered in the famous SALEM WITCH TRIALS in the United States during the 1700’s were from Wales? Do you know of any famous witches leaving the old country seeking new adventures and new magical energy in the new world across the sea ~ like Canada mayhaps?😃🧙🏼

@@NeonGreenTears I’m a fan of what Baphomet represents. I’m also more than just a Celtic pagan, I’m witch and an occultist. Baphomet helps remind me of the writings of Eliphas Lévi, which was my introduction to occultism beyond the standard neopagan witchcraft.
