This takes me back to the one time I was able to talk to Pia during the Swedish Chess Championship. She's very soft spoken and kind and despite me having issues talking to people I don't know, due to not wanting to disturb them if they are busy, she made me feel very comfortable.

i believe she have 8.5 out of 10 games, pretty good. She did a miracle against Portugal, to secure a draw 2-2 (by winning her game) when all thinking Sweden already lost

She will be feeling her hip injury very much. Her longevity in chess, her sheer mental stamina - she has only slid to the 37th ranked woman in the world at age 61, after being ranked 1st 3 times - may be due to her healthy living. AFAIK she has jogged every day of her adult life, and as per Anna, she only drinks tea or water, and when snacking always chooses an apple. Now her jogging has been taken away for who knows how long?
