Hats off to steve kerr for handling a team with 4 superstars and getting them to play as a team. They all play as a team trying to get a better shot for the other teammates. He deserves more credit as we see how often too many superstars can ruin teams, particularly the thunder this year, and karl malone lakers years. Sort of reminiscent of the 80s celtics and lakers and 90s bulls. Kerr will go down as a HOF coach.

Kevin Durant probably had multiple reasons for leaving OKC. But I'm pretty sure he had only ONE reason to come over to GS. And that is to play beautiful basketball. You can say what you want about KD, but he made the right choice. It's not just about getting rings, but its about maximizing your efficiency and playing the game the way it's supposed to be played. Boston or San Antonio might have been the only other 2 places where he would have been happy playing but he probably liked the idea of playing along side Steph, who is the ultimate superstar: unselfish, humble, team-player, game-changer, and the best shooter of all time...

idc what anybody says this warriors team is the best team of all time . the amount of talent they have is actually ridiculous . they have 2 mvps in their prime , the 2 best shooters of all time , a defensive player of the year , a former 1st team all nba defender and finals mvp , and an amazing system . i dont understand how people seem to overlook this , i watched every single minute of that pelicans series and its absolutely ridiculous how good they are . if they stay injury free i honestly wouldnt be surprised if they win 4 or 5 straight , their team is just perfect . i feel so bad for lebron because everybody expects his to beat the warriors every year which might be impossible considering his roster and coaching staff around him . i get that hes supposed to be the best and all but god damn his legacy is going to be tarnished because of this team . the first mega team in nba history

One of lebrons biggest issues is how he’s never really been patient and let a team come naturally. Like the big 3 were the most natural with him, wade and bosh and battier and allen came along. But he’s always been about retooling and using vets. Kyrie was a great piece in Cleveland but was love really the best idea? No it was a quick solution to try to build a team quick. The reason the warriors work so well is because none of the players have made it all about themselves. The same could be said for what the spurs had with Parker, Duncan, ginobili and even kawhi.

This is the Rockets year! They're the top offensive team this season and they are number 6 in defense this year. The duo of Chris Paul and the MVP Harden cannot be stop and led their team to the best record in the NBA with 65 wins. Along with the best 3-point shooting in the NBA with an amazing bench. Houston is destined to go far! Warriors in 5

The Rockets can't beat the Warriors. The matchups in the starting 5 will be Curry- Paul We all know from highlights that Curry makes a habit of embarrassing Chris Paul... however... I will be generous to Chris Paul and say he's a pretty good defender for Curry. He's not as long as you'd prefer, but you gotta have Paul somewhere, and anywhere else, it's an automatic mismatch. But like I said... I'll be generous and write this matchup off (even though Curry is vastly superior on the offensive end. IF Paul can finally lock down Curry... they can cancel eachother out... but frankly, GS doesn't need this matchup. Thompson- Harden** Thompson gets all the hard defensive matchups for a reason. He's long, tenacious, and he plays the defensive scheme right. When Thompson gets beat (which isn't that uncommon actually) they always have Green for the help, and Thompson is one of the best at knowing when he's beat and making the switch (onto capella... who isn't a very skilled offensive player. If Capella doesn't have an open dunk, even Klay can deal some justice in the post. All Klay has to do is not foul too much, not give Capella too many open dunks. For this reason, I give the Rockets a game. There will be a game when Thompson gets burned one too many times by Harden or Capella is actually making quality buckets. On the whole... Klay has the hardest job. Advantage Harden... but Klay is no slouch on offense either. He's the perfect screener since he can make anyone pay for leaving him, but he also has 2 players that you REALLY don't want to have the ball. Of the 3, Thompson should get the most wide open looks, and he's proven time and time again just how dangerous he can become when he goes off. Overall... I'll be generous to the rockets and call this matchup a slight advantage for the rockets. **Durant- Ariza I don't feel like detail is needed on this one. Durant's great defense is only overshadowed by his INCREDIBLE offense. Ariza is completely outclassed in this matchup, and there's nobody to really relieve him except for help defense. Stopping Durant will be next to impossible for the Rockets... especialy considering how full-handed the rest of the defense is. Iggy- Anderson Basically the same player, but Iggy has a more diminished role, and a better facilitating offense behind him. Iggy has a history of coming up big in the playoffs, so I think it should be considered generous to write this matchup off. If I were to take playoff history into account, I'd definitely have to side with Iggy... but I won't. Calling it a draw. **Green-Capella Capella isn't a terribly skilled player. He's offensively limited to shots when he can touch the rim. Green has a pretty easy PRIMARY defensive assignment... but... he's going to double as help D for mostly Thompson. For any other two players, this would be a problem, but Capella is particularly inept. Green can basically hover-guard Capella until he gets the ball (because he got no post moves and he's not a very good passer or ball handler either). Draymond's troubles will be that he's got to hold down Capella and Harden without fouling out. I'll give the rockets another game for putting Draymond in foul trouble early (or perhaps fouling out). On offense though, Green will have to take more 3s than usual to keep the defense honest. It's up to Green to pull Capella out of the paint. At this very moment, Green should be practicing 3s and NOTHING ELSE. Green's ability to knock down wide open 3 pointers will be the single biggest threat to the Rocket's entire defensive scheme. If Green doesn't make them pay, Capella will sag and make life hard for Durant... which will make the spacing bad for Curry and Thompson. Having said that, this isn't Green's first rodeo. He'll probably do fine, and he'll probably be the biggest unappreciated piece in the series. With the right ball movement, Durant, Thompson, and Iggy should have some clean dunks in the paint if Draymond is able to pull Capella out of the paint. Could potentially be a pretty even series for Green and Capella... but Green has much more upside. If Green can keep Capella honest, this series is OVER AND A HALF

Capella can post up and pass. Iggy would defend harden. Ryan Anderson would defend Klay. Ya. What about there bench? Dwest on Nene? Last year in the finals Dwest got in foul trouble. "he too (Klay) never stops moving w/o the ball" this is what i love the most about our offense...those two positions nonstop, atomic movement...baring injuries or ejections, noone on earth is stopping us in a seven game series...except four quarters of ice-age-type coldstreaks in four games...or a WW3, i'd think...gulp

I feel like the only type of team that can really dominate this Warriors lineup is one with a truly elite scoring big. I dunno if AD is there yet. I think somebody like prime Shaq or Hakeem, any of the elite post big men in the past would give them a lot of trouble. Dunno if anybody exists like that in the NBA today. Embid?

My closest team is an 8 hour drive away and iso heavy bball bores the crap out of me so when a team with great ball movement comes along I get hyper stoked like pops Spurs and now the warriors. I remember it wasn't long ago Steph was considered an above average point guard with a nice 3 pointer on a team few thought would ever make it from the first round. Then Kerr came along and everything changed. You don't have to like the team but you should respect them as the hardest working team in the NBA and the ideas they brought that revolutionized basketball around the globe. Plus KD had to get away from Russ and took a pay cut to do so. Seriously they changed EVERYTHING. I remember 2k15 with it's original roster had Curry as a 81 overall and the rest of the team in the mid-low 70's and at the end of the year when they updated the roster he was suddenly 95 and everyone on his team was mid 80's and they had the toughest team in the game. The warriors are good for basketball and it won't be long before someone improves on their system on a different team and form their kryptonite. It's an endless and entertaining cycle to watch if you actually step back and enjoy it instead of constantly whining about "wahhh this team is too OP! PUNISH THEM!" In fact I think this is their last year of dominance as LeBron has finally picked up what they we're cooking and is trying to do something similar with the Lakers and next year they'll have Anthony Davis and Kawhi as well. Then Durant will join the Knicks to cement his legacy and Kyrie and maybe Butler will join him and Porzingis.

Max Kellerman that is bogus, he can not defend at a high level anymore and what KD did was smart. He’s just taunting his legacy more knowing now he can’t even slow him down. I’m a big lebron fan and the only way you can stop the warriors is that, if both lebron and kawhi go go Houston where lebron can not worry about the team blowing leads when he sits and having someone else who he trusts, (Chris Paul) handle the ball. The only thing that would need to be figured out is if Harden would be ok with it..

The problem with the Rockets and the reason I don’t want to watch this series is the fouls. Harden and CP3 are floppers and complainers who don’t try to make their shots, their goal is to get fouled. Harden is the reason the nba is soft. He wouldn’t have a chance of surviving the 90’s. Geez. It’s bad.

As a thunder fan, its hard for me to say this but i have so much respect for the warriors big three other than durant. Was watching some early golden state games from 2012 and it was literally just them playing with so much joy despite nobody knowing about them and now they have built what is likely to be a dynasty with those same three players who where perhaps overlooked in their certain circumstances. With that said Rockets in 7

If CAVS had a better coach then they would also be deadly. I saw a pattern why the cavs are losing. Remember everytime new players just like the old lineup? The dwayne wade, drose, I.T lineup, at the start it was awesome! They had a winning streak and they won the first round of the regular season but when Ty Lue coached all the new players the losing streak came. This is not terrible right? but it happened 2 times. At the new lineup which was the Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance, Hood, George Hill lineup the Cavs we're back again with the winning streak and made people say that the lineup was helpful and was deadly, but when Ty Lue again came, the Cavs came again with the losing streak. So it's pretty obvious, the players aren't the problem it's the coach ;)
