It's even more hard to be constantly on move, run around 3 miles a game, keep your heart rate in check and properly execute your offense. He's had so much playoff siccess and playoff shooting records, it doesn't even make sense. The only time he shrunk from his usual self is 2016 finals where he was playing with a sustained injury. Most of them are really not talented. They are working hard to gel with their other teammates and this is the result. The thing about curry and screening is not only is he a very willing screener, he also sets very good screens. Players like KD, Davis, LeBron, they "screen" but they really just slip well before there's any contact and no one gets open. Curry is simply off the ball movement master, i wonder what other superstars do if they got that kind of super tight defence, literally curry only has less than second 'open shot' before the defenders running close the gap, and almost of his shots are always contested.

I honestly thought Charlotte made a good effort on defense, got a lot of steals, was a close game, but not much of their bench entered the game, helping the deep Dubs break out in 4th. I really like this version of the Warriors, clearly emphasizing 3-point shooting, movement, screens & defense. J Poole is kind of a wild player, out of control at points, but has both a long-range shot and a really quick first step...If Wiseman can do Big Man things and Klay can make it back for the playoffs this is a really loaded team.

Steph is still low key underrated. Everyone knows his shooting but because of it, so many people including analyst don’t see how good he is at finishing, passing, and knowledge on the floor. IMO he’s also a really underrated team defender, able to read quickly resulting in some steals and stops. No one mentions how good he is at setting screen (except for this channel and a few others). As mentioned in the video, he’s the best screener among superstars and provides so much scoring opportunities to his teammates without having to touch the ball.

The game today against Pelicans was so beautiful to watch... All the ball movement and the assists from tight places... Curry didn't even have to play in the 4th... Both Curry and Poole played well... Poole was hot and Steph was so-so... It's a glimpse of what they would look like if they were both hot and the way Steph gave Poole good looks today gave me flashbacks of Klay and Steph

I didn't watch the game, but from the highlights it seemed to me that the hornet players relaxed after a few movements and lost their concentration, which leads to losing their defense positions, then boom, the warriors were already at the rim laying up or shooting a wide open 3s. They played like semi-pros instead of pros from the clips, but the warriors are always fun to watch.

When Klay comes back, even if he is only 75% it will be more than enough. He is such a pure shooter, be nice to have our knock down shooter back. After these 8 games, I noticed Warriors could have actually beat all these teams by alot more points. There has been so many "wide open" missed 3's, from how good they are moving the ball around. So once we have guys in there making alot more of those. GSW are kinda flying under the radar somewhat. Most people only want to talk about Net's, Lakers, Utah, Bucks, Miami, etc. The GSW's are dangerous, with great depth.

Flow offense Coaches and smart folk. Question. What is the warriors and Coach Kerr’s philosophy when it comes to on-ball screens in the ‘flow offense’ they run (not sets- just their motion stuff) Is it only the 5 for their star players? Is it after a certain amount of passes? There must be rules for it as I know he prefers the ball movement style of pin downs, dho and post splits. Anyone got a clue what those reads/rules and philosophy would be?

I'll be honest. I thought at first warriors offense were designs to ONLY get Curry's open looks. But they actually had a principle of how they had an offense set, which is read-and-react to what's the defenders giving them, which is why even though when curry had a bad game, they still have a chance to win. They didn't have a chance to show this last season because they have a lot of young players which still inexperience to even show their basketball IQ. But once they gained confidence, you can see how brilliant Kerr really is.

That’s why they were struggling in the beginning of the last season, it was very hard for all those new players to understand this system…..but once they did they really skyrocketed at the end of the season…….too bad they missed the playoffs, they could’ve made noise…….Steve Kerr is so underrated

It get 1 almost 2 years to get it done first year after the last final it was catastrophic there were not in phase at all. Last year it started to work well and now it s all a masterpiece. It s probably the only team to play like this and it takes time and u have to have the right player to do.
