I loved the format of this! I thought it would be just random moments, but it was great. We just had our bathroom remodeled (what a nightmare!), but because of you, I have tackled caulking, installing peel and stick wallpaper, and a few woodworking projects! Congratulations on Season 1! Can't wait for new episodes on all your channels coming up next week (I've missed them and it's been so quiet in my youtube subs page). May not be good for podcast but I'd love to see a video where you and your mom go step by step in drawing up plans for a house. I know you've done some layout and plan drawing but wondering what approach your mom takes and if there are more technical drafts that you both have drawn up that we could walk through.

Content not too bad. When I think "character", I think of mouldings, special wall treatments and flooring choices, possibly beams, possibly decor/furniture, such as non built-in storage units (think English dressers in the kitchen). In future, perhaps highlight a variety of styles and what kinds of things could reflect those styles. I think you went a bit safe with your "white box" advice.

I’ll bet your mom is that lady those window people still talk about and I hope they learned something from their encounter with her and improved their mentality about dealing with women who DO know what they are talking about. My son’s girlfriend is an Engineer working as a Project Manager for a high end build/remodel company. She’s 32, looks younger than that and is tiny. She’s run into men who are difficult and then there are the ones who don’t take very long to figure out she’s not one of the owners girlfriends and does INFACT know what she is talking about.
