Hi Steve. This is one of my two favourite 80's films featuring the wolves of London zoo 😁. It's really interesting to hear about those motorways scenes. I agree the film probably would have been tighter without them. It is great to see scenes where the actors corpse but it stays in the film. btw your pronouncing of Withnail is unusual 😆.

It's a masterpiece, no doubt about it. It, for me, never gets old, and I can watch almost any time.

A few months ago I received a text message from my younger brother, now 61, with an attached photo of him and his son, rather sloshed, in Greece. The text message simply stated: "We've gone on holiday by mistake."
