Jed's wedding has not happened yet. Would be really interesting if they managed to keep Jer's engagement so secret that they actually pull that off on Saturday. Maybe because they choose not to. A lot of people don't go to college and manage just fine if they have a plan on how to make an income without a college degree. A lot of people who go to college just end up with is a useless degree and a ton of debt. I remember in one of the Duggars books they said they were not opposed to the girls going to college, but feels once they get married and have children they are encouraged to be stay at home mothers. But obviously when you are adult you can decide what it is you want to do. The only thing I worry about with the girls who are married is if something happens to their husbands, how would they support themselves and their children.

Jim Bob makes sure that the kids are legally naive. Legally the ones 18 and older can leave but they aren't aware of their options. Jim Bob controls what they read, listen to, how they surf the internet and what TV they watch. The Duggar kids are also are homeschooled and not allowed to attend mainstream schools. They are socially isolated. When you are born into a cult, you can't freely walk away. Just watch Katie's latest video on how the IBLP has devastating effects on a woman's life.

9:01- This may come off as harsh, but Ben has a very shiftless vibe about him. Jessa has been with him for five years!!! What has he done in that time?!?!? All the other girls married REAL men with REAL jobs/trades. Ben was the youngest and least prepared to support a family. With no discernible skill set or means to make a living he's been working for Jim Bob and Michelle since he was courting Jessa. You mentioned previously that Jessa and Ben may have gone through some marital struggles. It's no wonder. Honestly, if I were in Jessa's shoes it would be hard for me to feel attracted to a man who's several years younger than me, chronically underemployed, had a failed rap stint, and works for my mom babysitting my little sisters........and you know like most men in their faith he's not helping out much around the house. To add insult to injury he's short. Unlike, Jeremy or even Derick, Ben isn't in a position to provide Jessa true independence from her family, or take her on adventures, or even provide her a comfortable life. She's still in Arkansas (hasn't gone anywhere), she's living in a glorified double wide with 3 kids, and still having her life choices dictated by Jim Bob for the cash. Marrying Ben didn't provide her a true escape. I feel like Jessa was in a rush to get out of the big house and jumped on the first guy who showed her interest. At the same time, I feel like Ben was at an age (18) where his family was eager to get him married off fast to prevent him from falling into "sexual sin". However, Jessa could have done ALOT better. What Jessa lacks in personality she makes up for in beauty. With her looks , if she had just paced herself and been a little more strategic she could have landed a much bigger fish. Ben has the worst of both worlds. He has the beta male qualities of the modern man mixed with the entitled laziness of a fundie boy.

I watched the new episode that aired this week. Noticed that when Jim Boob and Michelle had their little family gathering that Josiah and Lauren & Austin and Joy were absent. Also noticed that it was pretty obvious that John David and Abbie did not want to be there. They looked so uncomfortable and I was just waiting for them to bolt for the door. I am sure there going to get a Streaming Show on Discovery Plus, to try to get more money to line Jim Bob’s wallet, which will, probably be more of his doing than any of the kids. But, I think Jim Bob and Michelle will try to push there daughter-in-laws to start wearing skirts rather than pants. And, of coarse Jim Bob would probably say something sick to his boys. Then, Michelle would probably tell her daughter - in- laws you got to be ready to be Joyfully unavailable. Which is so sick and disgusting. I say let them have and keep there pants.

Let's be honest we knee this was coming especially after Michelle's comment on last night's show when she said lots of blooming relationships this spring & grandkids Plus we saw all the proof In photos etc Good for them now let's see of Tlc takes this anywhere or what happens this weekend. We will see what happens next the duggar announcements. I Think the kids that have been in this "Rumors" were kept out of last nights episode for a reason so nothing got said or announced Like I'm sure few days before or around filming Jed got engaged bit nothing got shared till the 18th by kateys father the day before Brooklyn was born so they obviously weren't "allowed" to announce plus I'm sure Jim bob didn't want Justin's wedding talked about since obviously they didn't film it. So he kept the adult kids out of the episode.
