Hi Jen, Another great idea to store your planter stick info is to put them in a small photo album, one for each page, so you can see them better as you turn the pages when you need to go back to reference them. Happy organising. :)

Thank you for your reply i've got the book on order and i've been planning my first storage system. Todays task is to empty out the space and to draw out the space to see what i have to work with and what i can get to fit into the space to make best use of the space and my families needs. Due to all your videos you have given me a good foundation on how to plan and carry out these tasks. Thank you

I don't know why, because this video is so simple and maybe not the most interesting (I'm not insulting it or anything btw haha), but I always love to come back and watch it. Maybe because of how cozy you look in your sweats? Maybe because of all the cookbooks and other books that I've decided I want after seeing your ownership of them? Maybe because I aspire to have a home like yours in the future? I have no idea!!! But I love this video :D lol

Great video. This gives me good ideas for my plan to get an Expedit bookcase from Ikea to use as my sofa table (the table I'm using now is more decorative than functional, and will look better in my foyer). What's great about the Expedit bookcase is that it can be assembled horizontally. It'll be both functional and decorative. Very helpful tips! Thanks for sharing.

recommend following 'library style shelving for ease of retrieval by pulling books forward toward edge, making it easier to read spine as opposed to shoved far back

LOL, the Winnie bit at trhe beginning was brilliant! I loved the organisation of the books. I was doing the same thing today, but due to lack of space I used vegetable racks on wheels, so I can roll them apart when I need to. I would love to see more organisational videos - I'm really bad at it, I need all the help I can get.

You should make a video talking about how your organization started! Like was your mom super organized and you got it from her? I think it would be super interesting!

I have a bunch of cd's also I know you have a mac and I have a reg. computer but I am sure you could do this, I downloaded all my cd's on my computer and then onto an external hard drive for safe keeping I paid for them and I thought what the heck plus if they got broken I would still have all the songs it took me a long time it was a big project but simple. But I now have them all and takes up no space. I am not sure if you can put them on your ipod from there but I am glad I did this.

For some reason when I saw this on my main page I thought it was that black bench storage thing you have in front of your bed. But nonetheless I like how you keep your stuff in that console. Less clutter. You are awesome with organization as always Jen.

I always enjoy your organizational videos & find it amazing that you accomplished all that so quickly. For some reason it takes me forever to sort through, clean & reorganize. Your host was a darling addition! I especially liked it when she was watching your every move in the time-lapse portion... so cute! If you remember, I'd love to know where you bought your trifle bowl, cake plate/dome & white compote. BTW, you look darling in your Princess Marathon sweat suit! Can't wait for the next video.

I hope you still upload all the songs from those cd's onto your computer or something so you can keep them handy. Cd's are great in cars for long road trips unless you have an iphone/ipod hooker upper for the car then you don't need cd's.

Do you grow plants from seeds? I grow vegies and flowers and I try to keep the bags organized in two boxes and actually remember to put them into soil when they should go into soil. Sometimes I forget where I planted stuff (even if I keep those 'picture sticks' you have also) and what the plant was...I have actually ruined few plants in the spring time when I didn't remember I had planted something in a certain place and tried to prepare the soil for something else :D

Hey Jen, I was wondering which label maker you have and if they last you a long time? I had an old school one before where the machine imprints the letter into the plastic tape but it broke really quickly. I'm trying to get organized more and I think the label maker would help.
