Thanks, Jen, for reminding me to write my list according to the store layout, I've forgotten to do that lately and I end up wasting time and making myself anxious! I really agree about the Martha recipes, most are never fail. I tried a new recipe for a dessert this week and was sorry afterward that I had wasted my expensive ingredients!

@uglybobswife My mither-in-law taught me that trick. I only use the sticky notes when I'm planning a really big party with lots of platters, dishes, etc. now, but it is a very good tip!

I use the sticky notes on the platters, etc.. learned it from Martha. I've been watching Martha for years so I can literally write 50 books on entertaining myself, ha! :)

yeah i found the brown sugar pound cake with bailey's buttercream frosting online...think i will make them on the uglyones next days off...they sound yummy corrie aka uglybobswife Ps glad i'm not the only one who assigns the dishes i'm using before hand...I sticky note them so others can help dish up the food
