I've been designing on Wix using the basic editor for the past two years and realized that I can not transfer to Wix-Studio automatically so starting over from scratch. I'm not bummed, learned so much so things should go much faster, and smoother this go around. The benefits of Wix-Studio is too good not to switch. Thank you so much for your very good explanation! I have been working with the Editor for a long time but find the Studio not as easy. Probably with time, I will get used to it. May I ask a question I am struggling with: When inserting let's say a services sections, the colours/background are not those of my site. Is there a way to make this new section to adapt to my site's colours? Thank you very much.

You are very welcome. Unfortunately, not. You can save your colors as styles and quickly apply them to anything you want.

How does this compare with Framer? (for designers that don't want to have to deal with HTML/CSS when creating their portfolio)

When it comes to building complex websites, they share many similarities. However, for creating custom solutions for businesses, Wix Studio is a great option because it allows you to connect to many apps. If you are just trying to build your portfolio, I would say Framer is a better choice since it has a shorter learning curve.

Yes you can use CMS , it will depend on your collection permissions, connecting will be with datasets to the book on your home page, you can also use Velo to query the logged in user to determine where they are redirected too

when i change the menu location or delete the menu and add a new menu, mobile and tablet view show both hamburger menu and the normal menu side by side...what is the solution it is a nightmare please help..could you try this?

Hi. Your gaps are probably scalable. If you check the value you set in the gap section you will see an asterisk indicating your values are dynamic and they will change based on the screen size. You can change it to a fixed PX unit.

Everytime with a do a change in Tablet it changes again in Desktop, its so annoying, does someone have a solution for that?

That's strange because changes cascade down to smaller breakpoints not the other way around.

Shouldn't changes cascade down unless you are making a structural change. In this case add elements to the tablet breakpoint and hide the other elements

Yes, you can assign your domain to another site in your account as long as it has an appropriate premium plan, if from classic plan you can assign that too but may need to upgrade

Studio is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Its slow, clunky, you have to click multiple times to get what should be 1-2 clicks. Its not straight forward to understand. they increased the learning curve. total garbage. The older editor was better.
