if its an exploit / not intended then it wasnt meant to be in the game. They only patched the exploits after a whole month. If you're complaining that you arent able to use it now, then bad luck for finding this video too late. This video was meant to showcase that kingsisle wants us to play wizard101 like it is our full time job and now with the patch, it has proved this statement. They are doing this because they will most likely release a novus pack with the gear in it so that they can pocket off of those who did not use the exploits mentioned in the video. Instead of "thanking blabbermouth telling everyone" you should be "thanking kingsisle for being so scummy by always leaching off the communities time and money"

I think the term exploit is so over used by the devs as a scare tactic. To me an exploid is hacking into system, free crowns etc. Finding a "strategy" for an efficient method to beat a boss faster is just a strategy. If I flee mid fight for mana is that an exploit to 🤣🤣? What's the difference.

Yeah, I intentionally kept my life wiz below certain levels so I could solo some of the loremaster spells (namely Rat's Spin and Pigsie, shocking). I wonder if KI would think I'm exploiting the game or just using things in place to my advantage, because I don't want to have to find people to farm with me and/or deal with harder cheats.

I 100% agree. Them saying that exploits are bannable is just a scare tactic. Here’s why: Because you can bypass wizards101s system / security so easily, how many people have been using cheat engine and autoclickers? Using those is 100% exploiting because you can finish content in the game quicker than everyone else, but has anyone gotten ban from it? No. So what makes people think they’ll get banned for doing a explotitive strategy that is as simple as joining in late / fleeing. The only ban was back in the day of the tomato basket glitch

I genuinely can't believe they made the Grendel's Amends oversight. Like, the rest of these could have been simple to miss...but the stuff like Storm Krok's model not appearing right (it was broken since test realm) and Grendel's Amends healing the enemy should have been caught IMMEDIATELY. I'm not even at Novus yet (farthest I am is at Karamelle), and man this is just insane. The cheats do feel like a but much in my point of view. If only the game also gave the gear the Dragoon Treatment so that any school gear would be compatible to craft the better one. That would reduce the farming time by a good portion probably.

So done with KI locking meta gear behind an increasingly elaborate series of fights with really shitty drop rates. The way you have to craft dragoon gear alone is so frustrating. Luckily, depending on your wizard school and build, you may only need the helmet or amulet or boots, etc. It seems to me like by the time you are done farming for the old level meta gear, it’s too late. Another meta has come out and it will be a p a i n to get

Yes. It will always be a constant farm which is what we signed up for when playing an MMO. But if that’s the case, I do agree kingsisle needs to calm it down a bit. We are paying them memberships for what? To waste our time even further. But they know wizards are dumb enough / addicted enough to farm to farm. Farm x to then farm x to then get x

Yesss finally someone who understands. People complain for longer play time but you’re literally part of the minority then. Everyone else wants to do something OTHER than farming the same place over and over regardless if you’re farming a different location because of the split up gear. Yes it’s a game but it’s not a fun game in terms of farming for hours at a gear you can’t even use if you don’t have all 7x school wizards that are maxed (which means you fall under the part of the 5% minority who wants more longer form content in the game)

I’ve farmed everything for all schools and the hat, robe & wand are the easiest. Recommend farming that first before they patch it. The athame and rings takes a bit of time but eventually they drop. The boots tho are the hardest to get man, so far I only got the fire & balance boots. I’m still grinding for more but it’s frustrating when it drops nothing

Ok the 5-6 hr a day isn’t even true for everyone. I farmed a whole 8 hours and didn’t get any myth boots. I only have a myth max and yet I got aeon boots TWICE for balance and storm. And every single Lower tier boots to craft with EXCEPT MYTH

That's because Maxine's droprates are horrible, she has the worst drop rates out of all the other bosses so it's harder to farm her

Yeah what I mean by 5-6hrs is EVERYDAY until you get the gear drop. Not farm 5-6hr and then you get the drop lmao, that would be way too fast for kingsisles liking. Farm maybe 20+hrs in total for ONE gear Is what they want you to do :)

when i got the pet camera bug, if you click play as pet with the bug active and then leave to character screen while playing as the pet and rejoin it fixes the bug for me :)

Considering Novus' theming, I dunno if these should be called "Glitches" or "Features"... But on the other hand, it took me 8-9 months to farm dragoon gear for 7 wizards, I'm not doing that again. Personally, I like the idea of seperate pieces of gear being in different dungeons. It makes sidequests have more value. It's certainly more fun than farming all your gear off a single boss. Though I kinda wish they did gear like they did in dragonspyre. Like Ice wizards are gonna farm a boss for their lvl 50 boots than a myth wizard for example. Farming gear for several months isn't fun, and it makes players like me wanna quit the game, or be nothing but negative towards it. And threatening to ban people just because the game is awful to farm or play in doesn't help anything, like at all. It just drives more new players away, which this game DESPERATELY needs new life in it... Seriously, a lot of the farming problems could be fixed if a gear trading system was in place. Or at least a way to scrap items you don't want to make the items you actually need. But no, KI thinks Farming for 1 item for a week is more fun for players. A retail job is more entertaining, and that's saying something.

For several years now, players will identify bugs and issues in test realm and the update will go live without a fix. Sometimes they will eventually be fixed months later (because they release live right into employee holiday schedule). Novus was the worst in recent years.

The Spellement system has totally thrown PVP into the wind. The fact you can actually improve a single spells dmg and effects permanently in your deck is really cheesy. It incentivises more grinding but it totally imbalances how spells are supposed to be in pvp. I suppose only really dedicated people grind out the best arena gear and support the meta, but it really does feel excessive at times.

Im just surprised they havent fixed the spiritual tribunal audio bug where any time i cast it i recieve massive ear rape until another spell is cast. (Azathoth forbid i close a fight with it) This has been an issue since the spell was introduced. It gives me a headache. I do not want to mute the game because i enjoy its audio.

I also experience that too and same with pet training. It's a ping issue. If you are not from America then you will have that delay. It's very annoying in pvp or beastmoon in competitive parts of the game

Edit to this Video None of the things you showed in this Video are what you call "Exploit" Exploiting something is when you breach through the security system of something and use weakness for your own advantage to bypass security systems and profit from that on your own. These are not exploits these are simple strats, this not even a glitch or bug as it is a game related thing that is in the game. Second: None of these what you call "Exploits" are bannable, cause you're not doing anything maliciously which is not intended. if anyone would get banned for this "Exploits" i would've have no words left and if we all be honest if you pay money to kingsisle they never ban you for anything. They're greedy for money, and there only motivation to update the game is not the community/feedback its the money. im very sure not even the developers, like the game, or play it their own haha. This Update "Novus" that came out, was extremly rushed i have no clue why on earth they had the idea to release it that fast with these kind of bugs its extremely embarrassing to release an update like this the developers obviously didn't do a great job, the only good job they did was the marketing move in pushing it that quick out. They not even think about pushing an update or an disclaimer, that novus includes some epileptic images flashing things, or whatever. you just get a flashbang straight in your face. most of the time if you rush questing you have to disconnect the game and connect again to get rid of the whitescreen(the flashbang) many fights are glitched out, the friend teleport thing is broken, when you quicksell tcs you crash sometimes. loading screens even longer and sometimes crashing on new update, a lot of spells got updated to spellmental(money bringing spells) i mean its cool to have a spellmental path. but you have 2 options to get spellments, 1 option free2play get gold keys collect arround 300-400 use it on same boss and farm like multiple months only this boss to maybe maxout 1-3 of the spells which the boss drops. Most of the people playing this game play this game after work, after school and they want to play the game, and not end up farming a single boss, or asking people if they have skelleton keys to farm months for a boss, to maybe max out a spell for free. 2nd second option is to pay like 300-500$ to keeper lore spellmental pack and maxout all spells at once. we have 2022 p2w(pay2win) games shouldn't be a thing anymore, and not even in a inflation like this. This game has some serious issues, and without this beeing fixed they will lose their player base from time to time. and the most embarrassing thing about this game is, that a lot of good players use cheatengine, cause they dont enjoy the game at all. and the embarrassing part of this is that they can't do anything about this, because they would lose money, and money is kingsiles only motivation! money goes over players satisfaction.

Players use Cheat engine because of how God damn long the the game and the world's are, it takes a year to travel even with a 50% mount because some areas don't even have good teleporter placements or not teleporters at all with big areas.

You're thinking of the maycast pet jewel, which is giftcard only. The item card mass feint comes from the Dworgyn hat from the Professor hoard pack. So its crowns only. Still not good.

Good thing is they always give the professors hoard pack as a spiral scene / spiral showcase event rewards for free. Plus I think it’s added into the loyalty store from time to time. So many people in the game actually have the hat if you ask the right people (those who have the time to play wizard101 hardcore and farm for hours)

So i know i'm gonna be in this situation so i gotta ask. Is fleeing from fights to avoid specific disadvantages an exploit because everyone was doing it in hall of hero's and I normally don't flee because i like the challenge and it ruins my emersion but when I had to use team up for gear farming dealing with every Karen who rage quit because i wouldn't flee just wasn't worth it so i ended up just doing what everyone else was doing so i could actually get a team to help me from team up. When that's happening what are you actually supposed to do? I hear now apparently if you flee you get ban and if you don't you lose your team up and then you get a 10 minute penalty timer because they all flee but one keeps the dungeon recall up after they flee just so they can port back and stick you with the timer so you can't get another team up for 10 minutes. It's annoying and I just wanna be on the same page as everyone else

The point of this is people are farming the gear FASTER than ever because kingsisle released the world too early hence not taking into account of all the bugs and glitches that are being exploited. We are suppose to take our time with things but kingsisle also has made it obnoxious by splitting it all. They need to find a balance between how long they want their players to farm for when we have literally paid them monthly memberships, and what are we getting out of it? Wasted time. People have jobs. You don’t just spin boringly in the commons unless you really want to.
