What’s your favorite game breaking bug in Portal of Peril so far? As annoying as it is, it IS kinda hilarious when you get pulled clean across the map to some random fight and your teammates are just like ???. I really hope we get some better rewards from Madam Magda soon as well!

My favorite is the multiple bosses since that saves you a ton of grinding especially on a quick gauntlet like this. You can also avoid the shield stacking if you have a myth to use shatter or bring pierce/shatter tc like you said so it's not that bad if you prepare right and work together! Edit: Also I don't know if you may have heard somewhere or if it was an intentional update but skeleton key bosses were either changed horribly or bugged since my proper level fire wizard was still nerfed on the lowest tier despite being level 29 for king borr, and even higher level wizards are nerfed too. Despite this even if you finish it you still get no rewards even though you were scaled down! Have you heard or know anything about this? I'm baffled lol

Doing this Portal of Peril was one of the most unintentionally hilarious and wholesome wiz experiences I've had in a while. All the glitches were on display, everyone was confused, and our group formed a sense of comradery while we were scrambling to figure out what was going on. 10/10 would not recommend.

I did it twice on each of my wizards and said this was in the Top 25 of worst things in the game.. Like paying over 5 bucks for 50000 gold. I still make a joke about, the house 'OpEN SPACE' where they make it just 12500 crowns so you gotta spend 15 bucks. Then I see the board room for ideas, and can hear some new guy say, 'OK Let's make a house with nothing at all in it but grass.' And the people say let's make sure we get 15 bucks for giving them nothing, omg your getting a raise!!!!!!

for what its worth, as a returning player i managed to sneak into this event and scoop every single lore spell for my entire 6 (and all the balance spells) wizards. it's worth noting that for some reason, the very first few hours of this event were the grand tourney(?) portal of peril, it was bugged and wouldn't spawn sometimes, and so instead of fixing any bugs they just yeeted us onto this next one and left the old pass up for a day for anyone to claim their rewards... KI being KI, i guess -.-

Idk how we as a community allows KI to continue with this level of incompetence. The ONLY way we will get change is by hitting KI's bottom line, stop supporting the Crown Shop. 10 minutes of playtesting could fix 90% of the problems.

When some of these bugs have been present in many gauntlets for YEARS, you definitely start to question why there appears to be no urgency to fix them. Introducing portal of peril was the perfect time to fix those bugs and breathe new life into some old content but they continue to drop the ball.

The scaling actually works to some degree if you enter via the sigil instead of through team up, but it scaled everyone up to 170, despite there not being a single max in the dungeon.

There is one thing, if Dewey was defeat first and let the minions live, Dewey will respawn on the next 2 rounds like Dewey wants go another round. As long one of his minion lives.

I think the most frustrating part is that people want to boss pull the max (3). But lack any coordination and understanding to do so. As for scaling I can’t even tell the difference lol.

I found out the hard way that if someone completes the final quest after only killing the adds at the end you cannot return to the dungeon underwater if you die while fighting the multiple Dewey bosses. It just ports you above the surface.

My problem was the squid monsters can sirens at tier 1 and the troglodytes can rain of fire at tier 1 as well.

I did run Portal of Peril tier 1(30 to 50 lvl) blind and what is result Dewey use the king Artorius spells and his minions does use rank 9 spells access that it not suppose to be used. And yea that was very stressful portal of perils.

this gauntlet drops some of the islander gear from the pack. its lvl scaled to 130 but the appearance imo is nice. it drops 3 different sets from the hat robe boot and wand. ( i got the robe and wand when running this event )

Yeah, so long as cash cows exist they'll never care sadly. They even bugged out skeleton key bosses with the latest update so you're nerfed no matter what level lol

Poor management is killing the game slowly, but I did hear from someone at one point and I'm not sure if it's true information or still relevant, that whoever bought kingsisle are the ones pushing all the packs and stuff since they only care about the games under them making money. So if that's the case sucks even more

Its actually possible to fight 4 deweys in one instance. It also only seems to break when using teamup

If anyone is curious how to fight 4 in a single instance : clean all the fire fodder mobs fleeing everytime when only the boss remains. When all fodders are dead the remaining fight will be against 3 deweys, once you kill one of the 3 in 2 rounds a new dewey will respawn and you'll end up with 60 coins in a single fight. But considering this is team up only and you can't control who you are gonna be matched with this can't be replicated every single instance.

I completed all the deweys needed in like a few days on my storm, but that's 170. Being on my lower level accounts, if there isn't someone with at least novus level pierce in the run and people want to do the triple boss, it's practically impossible. I've had to dip out even on my 2nd highest wiz at 114, cause the shield spam is just too much to deal with

I got a plan busy for Today RN, but Tomorrow, my myth Wizard is Definitely going to Use PORTAL OF PERIL to get the remainder of Summer SoF. I just hope I can use the bank to put the teleport and Emote on my Balance, like the SoF cosmetic gear and mounts from

Just a heads up - you can’t transfer the teleport or emote via shared bank. When you redeem them from the SOF they will automatically equip to the wizard you redeemed them on. So if you want them on your balance you need to unlock and redeem them on your balance.

These bugs are far more common when using team up rather than all players entering together at the sigil itself, so that’s probably why

Tbh if you’re doing this event, you’re most likely doing it for coins and points. By farming these buggy gauntlets, you’ll get the most amount of value you’ll ever get before KI fixes it all. So I guess all of us are exploiting hahah

A shame it's so buggy if it was just duplicated bosses and the cheats worked right nobody would be complaining, but all of these bugs are evident on the slightest bit of testing, you can even get a whole different instance than your team when fleeing and coming back, (which could explain why your teammate never came back) or like the Sinbad gauntlet, get kicked randomly when you were defeated in the fight after your team wins and get no rewards. Kingsisle sadly doesn't care at this point. 🤷‍♂

They are bugs, It's still funny to me when something old comes that is new that people actually think, oh my this will work perfect. The only things that DO work perfect and You can count on to do their job is BUNDLES and Packs. King Isle could care less about bugs as long as you got new packs or old packs that they act like 'LIMITED Time' King Isle does not care about if you enjoy the game, they just want you to buy packs and crowns. PAY PAY PAY

Same old KI with their same old BS problems! Too lazy to push out updates & audits faster & too stupid/incompetent to do it right after it takes forever to hit live realm in the first place. Like, damn how grossly incompetent do you have to be to let the same issues appear over & over again despite the feedback being given? Once people stop giving money to KI, they'll finally be forced to listen & do their job correctly or perish & finally go out of business & shut down servers letting the game die once and for all. How predictable that KI has gotten worst year over year consistently ever since they were bought out by Gamigo. It's a miracle they've lasted this long ignoring the players & introducing more bugs into their game than good or playable content. Keep up the hard work Zaepha showing the perpetual disappoint that is the dev's failure to make Wiz101 playable without a bug every other update/second.

I still hate the fact that the event gives members more credits for a gauntlet run. Especially cuz just like everything in this game it's somehow connected to PvP i.e the spellements. KI needs to change this because it does give members an unfair advantage to gain more rewards at a faster rate than non-members and thus allow members to grind spellements much faster. The credits should be capped at 3 credits a day for all players.

@@chronoverge Deckathalon has the same system and KIngsIlse isn't doing that nonsense there. Everyone is on the same playing field no one feels at a disadvantage because of company favouritism. A video game should NEVER cater only to people who pay and/or pay more to play longer.
