It's been years since I last played, and it was quite nostalgic seeing you play through this solo. I'm shocked at what appears to be different colored pips, as well as the animation change to forest lord. The tree branch swing to hit everyone is nice. But nothing beats the old animation of him jumping on each mob one by one to beat them up.

The new pip is really handy You can pick a school and thos colored pips act like the power pips do, but work for your school and that one. Like a balance can use fire pips to use fire spells. Really helpful

been keeping track with the series for a while now, and the more you progressed, the more i've gotten to appreciate Life's damage output. it inspired me to play as my life wizard again for the first time in a long while, and low-key makes me jealous of how the healing school can easily do way more damage than the school meant for helping to deal big damage (balance)

Dimensional Shift (the spell that changes the order of combat) was added to certain bosses in arc 2 and 4 to ‘beef’ them up a little back in 2017 and 2019 iirc

It’s funny, I was questioning the thought of Belloq being the most infamous boss fight of W101. But then I realized that despite me not having played the game in over 10 year and only fighting him once, he is the only boss I still remember and ever knew by heart the cheats for.

The day they take the servers offline will be a genuinly upsetting day for me. I'd say we have roughly 5-7 years before that happens though thankfully. Hopefully they pivot and make an updated game with new systems that will draw in more players than ever.

One thing I'm curious about is your plan for gear in the future. You're currently running Wintertusk crafted, but since you're running solo, running things like Waterworks, Zigzag, or more importantly Darkmoor wouldn't really be viable at least for a while. What's your plan for gear in the future in order to keep up with the ramping difficulty? As a suggestion, based on your video in Mount Olympus trying to get the Zeus Gear, I would suggest completing dungeons solo first, and then farming for it with a team afterwards to speed things up, since you've already shown that you've beaten the dungeon without help.

Congrats on getting passed one of the most annoying bosses of the entire game lol, I really hated when dispels got introduced to the fights, it's already bad enough if your accuracy sucks. The last thing we needed was a spell that just completely screws you over more than a negative accuracy charm does lol. On the other hand..useful for you to use against the bosses instead so it gives you a little more time at the very least, at least cleanse charm exists as well.

I’m so glad that there’s still content on wiz. I’ve played it when I was a kid (2008) and have still played since then. I love this game and hate it at the same time. I love all the amazing mementoes and friends ive made while playing but hate how I spent at least a few grand playing 😂. I haven’t played in a while because I haven’t gotten my PC just yet but as soon as I get it, I’ll for sure hop back in the mix! Last time I played was when they introduced Novus and I maxed out my storm and myth character before my PC broke. But this content is amazing! Keep it up man!

So I'm currently a level 30 wizard (death) but I think I am learning the best strategy in almost all circumstances. Stack blades, curses, and feints as much as possible before you drop your most powerful spell (ideally also an AOE spell) that is also potentially strengthened with a monstrous or gargantuan. Looks like that strategy works even into later areas of the game. currently trying to craft the Deer Knight Onyx so that I can actually have a decent AOE as a death wizard early on. (pre-level 55) I've failed crafting it 15 times so far...getting other crappy level 15-25 death gems. I guess some are not terrible. I went down the ice school though to get volcanic shield and tower shield. I just kept going to get blizzard as an AOE, but it kind sucks. its definitely not Deer Knight.

Mana-basically MP, used to cast spells (ex: an 8 rank spell costs 8 mana to cast) Green orb is energy, used for non combat activities
