Wizard101: The Azteca Problem

I hope you all enjoyed my take on the Azteca problem or rant! I believe Azteca is the worst world in Wiz in its current state. Let me know your thoughts in the comments even if you disagree, I want to start a discussion.

Tags: This is a video discussing Azteca and it's problems in Wizard101 in 2024. W101. Wiz. Azteca is a world that you do after Avalon and before the Khrysalis questline. Wizard101 has many different worlds including: Wizard City, Krokotopia, Mooshu, Dragonspyre, Grizzlehiem, Wintertusk, Celestia, Zafaria, Avalon, Wysteria, Azteca, Khrysalis, Polaris, Mirage, Empyrea, Karamelle, Lemuria, Novus, and Wallaru. I just did Azteca on my Balance character in Wizard101. I've done this world on the Myth School, Death School, Storm School, Life school and Fire School so far (Not Ice School yet though) in Wizad101. The Azteca world is relevant to the game, to complete it you may need the Waterworks gearset which is similar to the Merciless gearset, the Waterworks gearset, the Aeon gearset, the Hades gearset, and The Nightmare Dungeon gearset also known as Dream Reaver gear. Was Azteca made easier ? I remember the year it dropped it seemed much harder then these days

Yes! They've been nerfing boss health there which I think is a step in the right direction if they don't plan on doing anything about the stat gap.

Everytime I have to do azteca and Khrysalis I get on my sisters account and just speed quest me through. I usually pick a day off and be done in 2 days lol

7:19 they fixed 'shadow block' back in the novus update.If an enemy blocks you see the animation now. You can sometimes crit only 1 enemy so while using an aoe you can crit on the mob but not on the boss but the crit animation will still play [as if you crit both] .

Ye that's what I meant in the video, that if you crit on the mob but not the boss it should treat it like the boss is blocking the crit instead of nothing indicating that you didn't crit on the boss.

Honestly, i LOVE Azteca. The world building, the sad story, and the music is so good. I feel Khyrsalis is dragging for me.

I soled Azteca on my myth before Orthorous was an AOE and before the nerf. If anything it's easier now.

After finishing Azteca back i think a decade ago my hate for Azteca grew throughout the years im not joking the mere thought of Azteca makes me shudder in fear and annoyance because I've done on both my accounts its no even funny every time I get to Azteca I start groaning in annoyance because I hate it literally I passed Azteca I think 13 or 14 times on different characters but when my sister did Azteca for the first time she told me she hated it I mean I literally hates Azteca with a fiery furious passion I remember a friend of mine told me a few years back he was stuck in that God forsaken world for a whole year I remember that night VERY well because I was doing a life playthrough at the time and I was shocked and flabbergasted literally there's so much I could talk about Azteca in a hateful way but it's whatever man if it was either Azteca or Karamel I would choose the latter despite my hate for both of those worlds as I said my hatred for Azteca gree throughout the years so yeah the very fact that I don't remember bosses in Azteca States another fact about me in general because I simply couldn't care less about the bosses in Azteca they aren't worth my time or day I think Azteca give me PTSD flashbacks 😢😢😢 yeah no screw Azteca I'm glad it got destroyed I mean I felt so satisfied at the end of the Azteca you cannot imagine how good I felt that day or every time I pass Azteca on my other characters a good Azteca boss is a dead one that's my philosophy of my Azteca bosses simple as that.

Im probably one of the only players that actually enjoy Azteca as a world and story. People who claim the world is too difficult are probably just playing wrong or heavily undergeared/unprepared for the world. Having waterworks, the sky iorn hasta, the jewel ofnthe feint, the nastrond athame and ring, and a triple double pet is more than enough for thr world.

I think it's very school-dependent, on Death I had a very easy experience (bc it's Death obv LOL), Storm wasn't that bad, Fire wasn't that bad, Myth was slower but not as awful, but I think Balance specifically was awful to play through. Even with 2 Blades on me and 2 Feints on bosses I would not kill with enchanted Power Nova and overall it was bad to play through. The experience I hate the most with Azteca is the story like I said in the vid, imo the characters are really annoying and only slow you down.
