I suspect their funding has been heavily cut because this set is a huge downgrade from the last set. There are only 3 camera shots now opposed to before where everyone could have a solo shot. It's in a much smaller room with a big green screen to mask it.

Easily my favorite cast in a long time. Episode is well-paced, segments and tangents (as interesting as they are) aren't way too long, and the debate was easily the funniest part of the episode. Especially with it escalating to weapons of mass destruction and global destruction. The multiple arguments also brought in a ton of perspective on the war in concept. Would definitely like to see this streamlined format continue if possible. 👍

here’s another fact… J.K Rowling even said that the Wizards can win if they maintain their secrecy while taking out governments. If they are found out, Muggles can win. Look it up! Wizards can literally use “Protego” and stop all bullets around them. They can Teleport and evade all damage…. They can LITERALLY enter a ghostly form and fly through the air and be immune to bullets and they can still cast spells while they move through the air… look it up on the part where the Death Eaters fight against The Order… On that note, they have Time Turners. They can literally manipulate time. And Demontors can literally create extreme cold and create dark skies and make technology malfunction… look it up. If you want to use Muggles and their tech, Wizards can use anything they want. It’s all fair game.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhate the new set. It visually feels to cramped, there's no personality or life in it like the one before with Boomstick & Wiz's "sides". It feels cold and lifeless with the black and blue hue everywhere. Sure there's 2 TV's but they're blocked by everyone in such a cramped space. The mic quality is much worse, barely able to hear Torrian who's one of the loudest guys there half the time. It feels like the guys moved out of their decently sized set and into a portable. The giant mic stands cluttering the screen were distracting as is, let alone the constant fiddling with them to try and fix the quality and/or positions, which in the end were fruitless. Still love you guys and eagerly await the next DB Cast, but hopefully we can either get the old set back or one that doesn't feel like everyone's huddled up at a counter top in a cramped coffee shop.

Muggles would definitely win. An all out war means air strikes, drones, full-scale assaults, tanks. We have bunker busters, the Rods from God, MOABs, and, as a last resort, nukes. Don't tell me that in an all-out war, a wizard could suddenly teleport into whatever secret area a world leader is in, and not only dodge/survive the bullets heading their way, but cast a control spell on the world leader and suddenly everyone in the room listens to their orders to stand down and NOT shoot the obvious enemy inside the room. And I highly doubt that all or most wizards will use any of the forbidden curses in this war, mainly because most probably won't know them, and those that may will be afraid of Azkaban, cause you know they're being sent there IF they survive or somehow win the war.

actualy to apparate wizard have to picture the place in their ming so if the president was in a bunker that noone was let into han he would be safe. also wizards cannot block physical things with protego and they would have to stop the bullets induvidualy. maybe voldemort or dumbledore could do it but not perfectly and most wizards couldnt. also we could just nuke them and invade the ministry becouse the magic that keeps muggles from seeing stuff is applyed by wizards so since they are being hunted they couldnt do it anymore so we would find their bases

all of the arguments for the muggles and wizards seem to forget one very important fact. The muggles already won a war against the wizards, we had sharp pointy sticks and numbers, they had a few spells. it was one of the reasons the wizarding world was hidden and kept hidden despite the numerous threats to muggle life. I believe it was the tales of beedle the bard that talks about humans witch hunting and wholesale slaughtering witches and wizards who weren't able to stay hidden because numbers beat spells.

@@darthcerebus Actually, electro is arguably better at electricity absorption. He can drain all the power off New York city. There was one point where he gained the power to manipulate the electricity in someone's brain which would insta-kill them, he eventually lost it (it shouldn't be included in the hypothetical fight due to Cole having more power at one point in the beginning of infamous 2 but then losing those powers). Point being is that Electro is an electric syphon. He can absorb anything. He even fell from the Brooklyn Bridge and survived.

I'm like 99% sure that the reason why the wizards hide in the first place is because they got their ass beat in the distant past, by regular dudes with swords and bows and arrows. Espionage only takes you so far. The ability to hold and subjugate a large population is a military ability and wizards within the HP universe do not have the numbers necessary to muster a larger enough force to conquer any large muggle nation. On the subject of magical creatures, many of those creatures are just as likely to join the muggles because they are basically slaves or second class citizens to the wizards.

First thing the muggles would do is sedate and capture a wizard. Then they'd figure out exactly what magic is. From there they would research and find a way to negate/defend against it. Then we'd use our big metal wands that crank out 900 Avada Kedavras per minute.

Wizards can do the same thing too. I mean, muggles have missiles, and wizards have reducto spells. Also, Wizards have created creatures called Dementors which can not only not be seen by muggles, but in large crowds, can damn near instantly snatch a soul. Sure muggles have guns, but wizards like Wormtail can take out a crowd of muggles in less than a second. And Wormtail is a fairly weak wizard.

I think the reason why wizards seem so weak compared to wizards in other stories is because fighting is not the main focus of Harry Potter. The main appeal is the story and the worldbuilding. If you meet a Dragon Ball fan they will ask you what your favorite fight is. If you meet a Harry Potter fan they will ask which house would you be in if you went to Hogwarts. Maybe this is a reason why after 11 years Harry Potter is the only character from his series to be in a Death Battle.

Look its about 14,000 vs over 325,000,000 if we're going with all of U.S. population, which means each wizard would have to on average kill 23,214.2 opponents. At that point its just a war of attrition.and I don't think the wizards have enough AOE spells to help them, on top of that, things like tanks, drone strikes and snipers are somethings that I'm not sure the wizards can counter easily. Like yeah they could in theory teleport them away but i'm not sure if they have the reaction time once they have been fired.
