I don't have air ride suspension on my 2011 grand, but I just put 265 65 18 landspyder AT tires on my jeep and I absolutely love them, with no issues

The offset on Wrangler wheels are slightly different than GC wheels. Probably the reason you don't have rubbing issues w/the 275s. I believe stock GC wheels would have some slight rubbing on 275s. But i could be wrong. Wrangler rims are the way to go to put some chunkier tires on for sure. 👍

Good review, however, "noisy" should not be used in a negative context as it is completely relative. The soccer mom driving the Rav4 on OEM bald tires might think its noisy, while anyone who has been around Hybrid tires will think nothing of it, and those around MTs will comment how quiet it is.

Totally agree but I'm comparing these tires against the others in the market in the AT class. Example BFG AT, Cooper A/T3, Open Country AT2. This tire would be louder than all those but yeah compared to MT/Rs, Iroks, KM2s I run on my other rigs these are very quiet.

It depends the load rating of tire, I have 285/55r20 E load type, it's too harsh and feel the street details, but with a ridge grappler 275/65r18 XL load rating (4ply) its like you are seat on a cloud, so soft soft, a pleasant experience. I got 2014 wk2 limit no QL 4x4 3.6v6 stock rims 20x 8 and 18x8 Laredo, with bilstein 4600 rro 2.5" lift and bora spacers 1" does put a +31 offset both stock rims. It depends what you want, in my case I want more confort. Regards from Panama.

Good video, I have a 2017 wk2 limited V6. Was wondering do you have any issues at all with rubbing when turning the wheel full crank or flexing when and if you drive off-roading?

I’m about to put on the falken wildpeak at3w 275/65 18 on my overland with the quad lift and stock rims. I’ll let you guys know how they fit if anyone is interested, even though this is an older video. I know Iv been trying to do some research.

Great video. I have a 2016 WK2 Overland and am looking at upgrading to the 275/65R18 tires from the stock 265/50R20. You mentioned the spare in the video; what was the size that you said you went with? 265/65R18? I am pretty sure that also needs an 18x8 wheel vs the OEM spare wheel, right?

FYI I tried to have 275/65/18 Goodyear Ultra terrains put on a 2016 WK2 and there was pretty bad rubbing in the front when the wheels turned at normal ride height. Not sure if it's due to the model year difference or because mine has the eco diesel and for some reason the wheel wells are tighter. Too bad though because they would have been a great option.

I'm a dumb shit and know its a HUGE HUGE downfall. I had a XK 07 Overland. It was starting to $$$$ me. Just got a 12 WK2 Overland. I'm hoping I'll get to where I like it. So far its not working! Overland that's not Trail Rated, no skid plates, no lockers I assume..? Complete bs! I hope it'll do better than I think it will in mud. I don't go 24/7 but do like to go. Do they ride ROUGH? Mine does.

You need to add in your description that wk2 with the v8 or diesel need the 18” rims or spacers. I purchased 17”s thinking they would fit because I watched videos like this and no one mentioned the v8 have the max towing package and have larger brakes up front and won’t fit. Please pass it along

Hi, I have a 14 wk2 summit diesel. I am trying to determine if all the wrangler 18" wheels would essentially work for this (are they all created equal)? I am concerned with the HD brakes that I think you have too about fitment for the 18" wheels. Also which wrangler wheel year would you look at for the wheels to get the TPMS sensors to work on the 14 JGC? Also with impact on objects and suspension compression have you seen any issues with that size since you put them on?

Were you running the load range E or load range C LT275/65R18? Diameter of E is 32.1" and diameter of C is 32.3". Both are technically "LT." I plan to throw a set on my 2018 5.7L Trailhawk.

Thinking of going with this size tire, but as it's oversized I've heard people claim that they easily bottom out in the wheel wells while off roading? Have you noticed at all that when you push the suspension travel distance that this can cause issues?

I have a 2011 overland. What about the upper control arm bolt. Any rubbing on it? Mine has the air and came with the chrome 18s

No rubbing but it was very close. The Jk rims from my memory have a very small amount of more offset then the factory 18s.

I had no rubbing but each jeep will vary slightly as well different tires could measure larger or smaller.

Hi! I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7 with quadra lift. I believe we have the exact same vehicle. My GC calls for a 265/60/18 Is that what yours called for? But that size duratrac is only a 2 ply. Will the 275/65/18 work fine? ( it is 10 ply) Have you found any drawbacks on this tire? Do the electronics work ok? Thanks the dealership and Wrangler were just confused lol

My WK2 had the 20inch rims from factory which were P265/50R20 but that tire size and your tires of 265/60r18 are virtually the same. You'll be fine with 275/65r18E the tire is about 1.5 inches taller and a tad wider. No problems I thought I'd have a problem with power but I honestly didn't notice any. The only negative is your speedo will be off about 5%.. E rated tires will run not as smooth as P rated tired due to the plys.

I've got 265/70/18 on mine and my only concern is the fuel filler hose, have you had any rubbing there or issues?

Hey quick question I have a 05 jeep grand cherokee limited v8 4.7L. I have the factory 17" rims and tires on it but looking to change it out for Jeep Wrangler Rubicon OEM 17" wheels rims and LT255/70R17 tires. Now I know the lugs are 5x5 and so the rims will fit. but I do not have a lift and not sure if the tires will fit without rubbing. also not sure if the sensors will work or not due to year difference. any help would be great

Funny you should ask because I currently drive a 07 Grand Limited same as your 05 with 255/70r17s on JK rubicon rims. But you'll need to do two do different thing for them to fit. First you'll need 1.25 spacers and you'll need a lift or they will rub really bad. I'm running a OME 2.5 lift and still had to trim the pinch welds.

As for the wheel sensors it depends on the year of the JK rim the 05 WK uses a 315 MHz so 07-12 jk sensors will work but 13+ will not.

275/65r18 are equal to a 32x10.5 so you would be fine with that size as long as you don't go wider than a 10.5

From my understanding without spacers 11.3 inches could be too wide and rub on turning. It depends on the tire brand unfortunately because they all don't measure true

Comfort is a bit of a personal choice. The 20" feel better on corners and highway but around town and on the trail the 18" cushion better. 18" in a 32-inch tire can at times feel floaty on corners or the highway if you are more used to a lower profile tire. I'm used to running 35 to 37 inch tires on 15-inch rims so its all objective.

Jeeping.Net Thank you. I am thinking on my 2014 Overland model to find a suitable wheal ride for non tarmac roads. But my problem is the air suspension.Now I have 20” rims wich seems to be to stiff for my taste.Because of them I still my wife Subaru Forester wich is way better on non tarmac roads.

Thanks. The OEM 2011 Grand Cherokee wheels have a 56.4mm offset and are 18x8. I think those tires fit on your Jeep because of the offset of those JK wheels. Is that right or will it still work on 18x8 56.4mm?

+mel freemel I think ride is somewhat depending on what the drivers likes. It makes the ride a little more smooth but not as firm. The wider tires help with the feel but going to 18 inch and higher tires certain make it a little more bouncy. Airing up a little higher than normal can help with that.
