Vicki, I am so grateful to have found your channel, you go into great detail teaching the rest of us. There are so many things I used to pass up at sales and you have taught me they have value. You have wonderful delivery of your message. My progress is listing more, however my bigger task is organizing the inventory to find the items.

Awesome video Vickie! You are such a great teacher! After selling a lot of my own items, my challenge now is finding good items to list at the lowest possible cost. This Boot Camp has challenged me to list at least 2 items a day (2/day, 14/week). This is more realistic for me to have a BUDGET of a maximum $5 per item = $70//week, $280/month as a beginner. Most resellers on KZbin do not tell us enough about the cost of goods they spend each week and the operating cost involved. (tap, boxes, packing material, etc.) In order to get the best prices on supplies one has to buy in volume which is too much for me right now. Sorry for rambling...I really enjoy your videos and I wish I had a Mark to help and motivate me! He's a great guy!

Thank you! Mark is the retired teach but I guess I'm a late in life teacher. LOL. I don't know where you live but your budget sounds quite high. If you can get to Church rummage sales and garage sales, you can find things for .25, .50, $1.00. I barely spend $30 on a weekend at multiple sales. I do appreciate all that Mark does so much! Thank you!

love those mini plates that sold for $25. And we're sharing similar questions and goals right now in this reselling gig. Thanks for being a 'real' reselling channel. And not telling us exactly how to do it :). Refreshing. As for my own progress... my goals are to be intentional about digging into my unlisted stuff (which means soaking linens... doing mini repairs etc)... and buying less and smarter buys (don't always meet that last one). I'm also selling my own personal stuff as I come across it. Amazing how many personal items are selling... and I love the feeling decluttering brings.

Congrats on your Pyrex sale. It's always always too damaged when I find it. I'm glad you showed the Corning grab it bowls because I always leave them behind. Not anymore. I achieved my goal for the week and one item sold the next day.

Those mini plates were definitely cute, very interesting napkin ring, would never have guessed. I think the sifter sold because of the cherries. I planned to list my sewing patterns last week but life got in the way, hopefully this week I will accomplish it.

Great info on the Grab It bowls. Never knew they came in different colors! My Mom had them when I was growing up. I tend to put my more odd and hard to find items on Ebay and the rest in my booth

This past week Monday-Thursday I had only 2 sales. I was discouraged but I kept listing 5 a day. Then Friday/Saturday I had 22 sales. So last week was my 2nd highest week this year so far for both units and dollars. Success does not necessarily come consistently evenly spaced😊

Another great video! I finally got off my butt and got a lot of photographs done. I have a lot of NWT handbags and wallets to get listed and struggle with getting colors correct, as well as juggling a bag with one hand while taking pics with my iphone in the other hand🙄😂😂😂 Last year I started going outside, setting up my mannequin on the front sidewalk to display the item. I use the portrait mode to blur the background and focus on the bag. I love the look and keeps me from juggling the bag and phone 🤣. I live in the Atlanta area and it got really hot last week, so I was starting around 8 am and was shifting around my front sidewalk and circle drive to avoid the scorching sun. Then I set up a patio table with a white towel on my front porch to do closeup interior pics, until the sun crept up the steps and started hitting me full blast (skin cancer sufferer here!) Needless to say, it was fun last week, I got off my rump and got around 24 bags photographed. That, for me, is PROGRESS! Next is sorting the several hundred pics and getting them listed. I have too much 💰💰 sitting around 😊

Can you try leaning the purse against a poster board propped up against a hardboard? I like your idea of photographing outside but yes....it is really getting hot early this summer. Very tricky to work around the sun and heat. But look, you got 24 bags photographed!!! WooHoo!!! That's a lot of progress, Clarissa! I don't even want to talk about photographs and such......imagine the video clips that I organize on a daily business..... Thank you!

I'm ready for the challenge 👍I had to put my eBay store on time away for 10 days, not knowing when I would be returning, and it feels like I just opened my store... 🥴 I'm sure things will get moving soon. I'm curious as to why you're lowering your prices every week instead of promoting them "on sale" with a percentage off? Wouldn't that put you higher on eBay's algorithm? I have so much to learn 🤗 You've taught me several things along with a time-saving eBay shortcut in this video that will definitely help me along my reselling journey. So glad you went dow the rabbit hole of Grab It pots. I just bought 2 with glass lids and they say Grab it on them. I passed on some Correlle (sp?) ware, Plymouth design plates and bowls because when I looked them up on ebay the sold comps were all over the place. It's hard to know if some of the prices were people just giving them away but it put me off.

Finally catching up on a couple weeks of videos. Ebay is a lot like Poshmark in the amount of work it takes. I don't think it matters what platform(s) you use, it's work. The difference between reselling and my regular 8-5 5 day a week job is that I actually enjoy reselling. I just can't live off of reselling. Is that because I don't do it full time? I don't think so, I think it's just how reselling typically works. I have only been listing things I already have this Summer and have not been buying anything new for resale.

Thank you Vickie for another informative video. I really appreciate the time you take to teach me about the different aspects of reselling and of course your amazing pack and ship videos. I love the flour sifter. That would look amazing in a 1930’s-1950’s kitchen or on a Hoosier cabinet. The napkin ring is beautiful and I’m shocked at the price some of them sold for. I do not think the sellers did any research. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. They bring the price of items down. I’m happy to see that you listed it high.
