I remember the old Fountain from years ago , Kings shop at the top of Wapping lane, the beautiful Wendy used to work there, I used to go up to the wee bakery on Wapping lane from Tilley’s factory, they had the best sausage rolls and buns, unfortunately once the Troubles started it was out of bounds. Great to see all our “Troubles” behind us and everyone enjoying their culture as they should .

Can’t remember the geography of the Fountain from my early years in Derry, but I think the fact a Nationalist city accepts marching bands like this is progress - or am I being naive?

Both sides have been working hard for years but the parade walks through the city centre then out to the Fountain where its a protestant area
