Nice to see you respect wild life unlike many here in the states. I have seen some people in the states here chase horse - dogs - birds and most any kind of wild life. We had one person fly their drone near a police helicopter while it was hovering looking for some criminals and than collided with it. It was fun again watching you again fly with a helicopter for a change and you still have your skills. I see your subscribers are still growing something to be very proud of. Problem here is a brushed tail motor with a brushless main motor. Very limiting for acrobatics, but ok for just flying around in 6G.

Like riding a bike I think. You did do very well for being rusty. I am wondering if you could change that tail rotor for one from a V1913. I can tell you the 450 is a lot more durable than you think. I have crashed mine many times and aside from killing the main gear it has been through a lot. Of course I crah mine in tall weeds,not hard sand. I was thinking that was cheap and no way did I want one but after seeing how agile it is that is way more maneuverable than my v913. Its on my list to buy this summer. As always,I wait till price goes down a bit and they improve whatever needs improving,like that lame tail rotor cutting in and out. thats a bad idea all the way around.

Do you fly this often? Have you replaced the servos yet? I have this. Right out of the box 1st flight the front servo failed and crashed 2 feet off the ground. Bent the main rotor shaft and sheared the bolts. What a pain. I'm going to replace all 3 servos since they are plastic garbage. Going to cost $75 for all 3 with metal gears. I would suggest people spend the extra money on a quality helicopter. Thanks for the video friend.

It seems like some manufacturers of hobby rtf helicopters can't get their act together. You would of thought by now they would of perfected the tail rotor proper spin rotation with the main rotor all synced up. With quadcopters you have 2 more motors & they have perfected the sync up with all 4 motors or in some models 6 motors. Why can't they get it right with just 2 motors on a helicopter??? This looks identical to Walkera Master CP - 250 size not 450! - only difference is canopy and this one has a brushless motor.( I had 3 Master CPs at one point)

I have one. Very week servo gears. I broke all 3 servos on a minor oopsee . Its a known issue. Also, cant get metal gear servos, only OEM servos or Futaba will fit. Would have been much better if I could have just used standard MG servos on it . Im know waiting 2-3 weeks for more servos . :-( Its actually smaller than a 450 .

Sorry but it's not a 450 size, a 450 has a main rotor diameter of round about 700mm, it's a 200 size like his brushed brother, the Walker Master CP with the same measurements. The Master CP blades should fit nice and should work better with their carbon inlay. I'm flying my WLToys v977 and HK Assault 100 (Hisky HCP100s) with my Taranis X9D + and a multi module, this should also work fine with the v950 cause it works with the same radio as the v977.

I have a couple of these and they do have some issues. The TX is the same for the V977 and the V931. So the Throttle / Pitch curves are all wrong for this size heli. (including the tail throttle response) Its a clone of a Walkera Master CP and they even cloned the crappy servos. The servos just don't last very long. At least Walkera came up with a Metal gear replacement. And no you cant use the metal gear Master CP servos in this. You can swap over the plugs to fit and the servos work but they chatter too much. Nice flying. I am programming up my Devo 12S with the Deviation FW and 4 in 1 module. Hopefully I can tune a Throttle / Pitch curve for this thing. I will just have to keep buying servos by the 6 pack.

A Belt driven Tail Rotor would have been very Nice, But with Brushless Motors, Today's ESC'S it Should be possible to Pull it off, and Preform if ALL of the Hardware, and software is up to Date (Technology Speaking). The Radio seems to need a little work, and Apperently has some Quality Control issues. Looks like they are trying to keep it as affordable as Possible, but these improvements could be a REAL Game Changer "As Long As You Don't CRASH"!!!:). Maybe Offering Atleast Two Models with Upgraded Servo's, a Stronger Rotor Assembly, Carbon Fiber Construction, Excedra Would Make This a Work Your Way Up Helle?.? IDK:). John Jenkins actually you are wrong, even with the tech today having a motor driven tail still has to speed up and slow down to compensate, and that will ALWAYS take time to do, so you will always have a slight tail blow out, it's just simple physics, the only real way to keep everything running right is either a belt or shaft driven tail, keeping the tail rotor at the correct speed and only changing pitch, another negative of a tail motor is again because it speeds and slows, even with a nice gyro you can still get a nose up or nose down effect, again a rotating mass changing speeds does this, this is why on all high end helis they are always belt or shaft driven, yes you can do most of the same tricks, but you also have to in teach yourself proper flying and have to compensate for the problems with a tail motor

michael german I have to say I am in full agreement with you. There is just No Way to get around the physics. A rotating mass with the sliding principal to create Positive, and Negative Thrust is the way to go to achieve a smooth transition on the tail Rotor Blade. Quickly stopping, and starting the tail Rotor Blade in Different directions will always create undesired Forces that would inturn Force the Pilot to have to compensate. Like you said, it just can not be duplicated with a dedicated motor driven Tail blade.
