Because that is how it is supposed to be. The majority of games cost money. Some are free games but they include microtransactions. Paid games are usually one time payment and no more funny schemes in it. I suggest, It is better to watch reviews of a specific paid game before buying them

Yeah because they didn’t need to make something like “you have to pay to buy this item to pass some stage or buy a weapon to win the stage”…and labeled their game as “free”…no. Personally I never a fan of online game or free game that need to pay for some ridiculous items or skin or whatever it’s called. I better pay in the first place and enjoy the rest of the game without worrying about P2W. I really enjoy paying for a games such as Grimvalor, Afterimage, Dandara, Battle Chaser Nightwar, Spongebob Cosmic Shake, & GTA SA DEFINITIVE EDITION. And for me all of them are good games and worth to buy.
