During COVID, There were over 1000 felons who were permitted to serve the remainder of their sentences on house arrest and staind out of trouble/complied with all mandated requirements. Hospitals did not get blanket payments of $30K. They were reimbursed under the CARES Act to cover the increased costs of treating COVID-19 patients, not to 'say' someone died from it. The reimbursement rates were higher for COVID cases because of the additional resources needed for treatment, like isolation rooms, PPE, and ventilators. All of which are expensive. Do you really think every doctor and nurse would risk their careers to falsify a death certificate? Even in red states?
